Y/n’s POV-
We knew we needed to get to the Garrison. Every other cadet had gone to the wall for evacuation, all but Armin. Mikasa, Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt, Eren, and I. We knew we couldn’t stay up here on this building forever, but Eren wasn’t gaining back his consciousness and none of us could completely scale a wall while carrying someone.
“We should find and alert the Garrison of our situation. They need to know about Eren’s transformation, and why he is unconscious right now,” I finally said, speaking out over the weeping still coming from Mikasa.
“Y/n, you don’t know how the Garrison will react to Eren transforming into a Titan, you know, the things we are trained to kill,” Mikasa responded, in a tone not usual for her personality.
“Well, what choice do we have, we can’t get him over the wall and if we try we will be asked why he is unconscious, would you rather we lie and potentially be tried for treason and killed?” I asked.
“Y/n is right, we don’t have much of a choice here, and I’m sure after hearing how Eren in his Titan form helped us all survive they will understand and nothing bad will happen. Y/n, Mikasa, and I can take Eren to the Garrison squad commanders at the left end of the wall, you three evacuate with the others,” Armin responded.
Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt looked satisfied and took off towards the wall. Armin and I helped Mikasa calm down and stood her and Eren up. Mikasa was going to be the one to carry Eren, despite our complaints about her being not well.
With Eren wrapped in her arms like he was going to disappear the moment she let him go, Mikasa took off towards the west end of Wall Rose. Armin and I followed on either side of her to make sure nothing happened on the way.
When we got to the wall there was plenty of Garrison soldiers there, they gave us strange looks as we carried our unconscious friend. We sifted through soldiers to find Captain Kitz Weilman. When we did he stared us down, most likely trying to intimidate us.
“What are you cadets doing here, huh? You all should have evacuated ages ago,” he growled.
“Pardon me, sir, but some… strange things have happened to the cadets over the course of today and, since we can’t scale the wall to evacuate with our unconscious comrade, we knew it was best to report to you,” Armin said.
“Well, very well. Explain fast, I need to get my soldiers evacuated. State your names.”
“Armin Arlert of the 104th Cadet Corps Graduating Class.”
“Mikasa Ackerman of the 104th Cadet Corps Graduating Class.”
“Y/n L/n of the 104th Cadet Corps Graduating Class, and this is Eren Jaeger,” I finished.
Armin proceeded to explain the whole mess of events to the captain, and as more time went on, more soldiers gathered to hear the story. Some responded with thoughts of how they saw the strange Titan as well as they were evacuating. As the story progressed the captain and other soldiers began to look extremely concerned.
They began to look at Eren as if he was a monster, look at all of us as if we were monsters. Armin began to trickle his voice out towards the end of the story as people began to draw their blades. We stepped back until Mikasa collapsed from Eren’s weight and we kneeled beside her. Armin took Eren under his shoulder and Mikasa stood up with her blades out. The Garrison began to surround us, blades drawn and cannons all pointed at Eren and us.
“So you mean to tell me, that boy is really a monster, a monster who has probably been spying on us this whole time, alerting his titan friends of times to attack,” the captain said hysterically.
