Volume 2 - Part 5: New Lightning arts!

You were currently in the Arena inside beacon, training with Chrome. His training grew more intense over the last few weeks. The training didn't focus on you fighting without aura anymore, but to strengthen your Flame and Lightnings. He made you attack him over and over again, trying to strengthen your abilities.

Chrome hit you in your stomach, before grabbing your neck, doing a 180° turn and throwing you into the wall. "The control of your flames is astounding. You've gotten a lot better."

You fell out of the wall onto the ground, before standing up and dusting yourself off. "You know," You popped your shoulder back in. "that'd be a lot more meaningful if you wouldn't throw me into the wall." He let out a small chuckle.

"Perhaps, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun, boy." He threw a bottle of water to you. "Besides, that's why we Power types have an advantage over speed types. You're able to deliver many hits, but not nearly as much power as one of mine has."

He did have a point. Over the last few training sessions, you found out that speed's your strong suit. Even without Summer's semblance, you were quite fast. "Yeah, but i bet Pyrrha doesn't throw Jaune threw Beacon."

"Boy, i haven't even thrown with all of my power."

You pointed at him dramatically. "One day, i'll be able to do a Rasengan, you will-"

"Will do nothing, Y/N!" You rushed behind Chrome, as Team RW_Y and NVRM entered the Arena, with Weiss walking toward you. "I will absolutely NOT let you do that again!"

Sol stepped forward. "She's right, you know. The last time you tried to use one of these 'Anime moves' you blew yourself up."

*Flashback*

You were inside the Arena, training with Sol. Team RWBY, JNPR and _VRM were watching you.

"I'll beat you up with style!" You grinned cockily at him.

"You? Defeat me? Ha! I'd like to see you try!" His fist were engulfed in red energy, as Turret's were spawned besides him.

The turrets started glowing, signaling they were ready to shoot.

You didn't budge, but you took a stance. Blue Flames started to surround you.

"KA..."

Zeke and Ruby jumped up from their seats. "He's gonna do it!" Zeke looked at his friends, stars in his eyes.

"Going to do what?" Weiss asked with an raised eyebrows.

Yang looked at Y/N, eyes filled with pride. "Just watch and enjoy, Ice Queen."

At this point the Blue Flames gathered in your cupped hands, forming a small ball of flames in them. "ME...HA...ME..."

Sol's turrets were now ready to fire, so he immediately gave the signal to do so, knowing you were up to no good.

"GO!" The turrets fired at you, but were too late.

"HA!!!"
