I was invited to a secret Santa party for Christmas. I knew Colby was going, but I didn't know he was going with another girl.
"What if there dating? Like was liking him for five years for nothing?" I whined towards Sam.
"I don't know Y/n I didn't even know he was going with a girl, he told me he was going by himself." Sam said confused.
I looked towards the door of my apartment, I didn't know what to do or think.
"Should I just not go? I already know I'm going to be heart broken when I see him with another girl." I asked looking at Sam sadly.
"I think you should go! See who it is!" Sam said smiling.
I nodded and stood up as well as Sam did. He came up to me and hugged me.
"Please come, I'll away be here for you okay?" Sam said looking at me.
I nodded then walked him towards my door and he left. I looked across and saw Colby's apartment, he was walking out and looked at me and smiled. I closed the door and locked it walking back towards the couch. I grabbed my phone and looked at all the recent posts. After a few minutes of that I got ready to go buy a present. I decided on just getting a pack of Christmas socks. As I was leaving Colby walked into the store.
"Why is he always popping out of no where!" I whispered to myself.
I walked quickly out the door and back towards my car. After arriving home I got ready for the little get together. I worse a simple white off the shoulder top with blue ripped jeans, and white vans. I grabbed the wrapped present and my bag and walked out the apartment. I drove to my friend Corey's House and walked in.
"Y/n! How's it going!" Corey yelled coming towards me.
"Hey Corey! I'm good how are you!" I said smiling
"I'm amazing! You can put the present over there! There's drinks over there and just chill we'll start the secret Santa once everyone is here." Corey replied patting my back and walking away.
I put the present down and saw Sam and Kat. I walked towards them and waved as they got up.
"Hey gorgeous!" Kat said hugging me.
"Hey!" I replied hugging her back.
"I heard about the Colby thing, are you okay? I haven't seen him yet." She said worried.
"Yeah kinda hurts but I'm trying my best to stay strong." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"Well your doing amazing at it! Let's go get you a drink!" She said pulling me towards the table.
Once we got there I saw Colby and Shea holding hands. My heart dropped and so as my smile, Kat noticed and grabbed my arm and walked back towards Sam.
"I can't do it, I can't be here. I can't look at them without wanting to cry." I said sitting down.
"Hey Kat, can you go get water I'm going to talk to her." Sam said calmly.
As Kat walked away Sam bent down. He grabbed my hand and looked at me.
"If they are a thing, then that's Colby's fault for leaving such an amazing girl as you. You are an amazing friend and an amazing person in general. You've been put through living hell yet, your still here smiling like nothing happened. Don't waste your tears on him when he hasn't noticed an beautiful, smart, kind girl like you." Sam said hugging me.
"I agree, you've helped Colby through so much and he hasn't even noticed that. You are an amazing girl Y/n, please don't cry over him he's not worth your time!" Kat said handing me the water and hugging me.
