Doctor: she's gone.
Joe: she can't be gone, Dianne she can't be dead, (he broke out in tears)
Doctor: Joe, Joe calm down Dianne's alive and healthy, it's the baby who didn't make it.
Joe: what so Dianne's alive?
Doctor: yeah their just stitching her up right now. It's the baby that's dead. I'm so sorry!

A wave of relief came across joe that dianne was alive but he was also very upset.

Joe: both of the twins?
Doctor: no only one, I'm so sorry for your lost joe, would you like us to tell Dianne or would you like to tell her?
Joe: can I please tell her?
Doctor: of course you can.

Joe sat back down his head in his hands worried about how she would react. They had so much going with the cancer and the pregnancy itself with out this happening. They really were the bate to bad luck. After about 10minutes he got the permission to go see her as she was awake. He walked in and saw her there laying with her eyes wide open staring at the roof. he walked in,
Joe: hey little one.
Dianne: hey, can you give me a hug please.
Joe: you bet I'm giving you a hug right now!
Dianne: what happened?
Joe: you had surgery, dot one of the babies died, they haven't said how or why yet their gonna come here to talk to us once you're feeling better.

Dianne started to cry instantly, she dug her head into his chest and stayed in the same position for hours while joe played with her hair and rubbed her stomach while saying some nice stuff trying to comfort her. After an hour or two she had finally stop crying because she realised that her family's had no idea were she was.

Dianne: joe, they don't know anything we need to call them, pass me my phone please.

phone call between dianne and her brother.

Brandon: dot were are you? We've been calling you for hours.
Dianne: we're at the hospital.
Brandon: oh my, is joe ok?
Dianne: joe's fine it's me.
Brandon: WHAT?
Dianne: I've had surgery Brandon, (she was now crying again) i lost one of the twins.
Brandon: I'm on my way with Andrew mum and dad, we're gonna help you get through this dot!

After the call Joe and Dianne decided they were ready to find out what caused this tragedy.

Doctor: long story short but the baby that has sadly passed had a trace of cancer, does on of you have cancer in your history.
Joe: i got the all clear a couple months ago.
Doctor: congrats
Joe: it's didn't last long it's back now.
Doctor: I'm so sorry to hear, are you being treated?
Joe: yes chemo 3 times a week.
Doctor: as I was explaining the baby had a trace of cancer in it's blood line it was a very low chance that she was going to survive as it was very strong.

The doctor left the room. Joe was feeling so guilty.

Joe: it's all my fault, Dot I'm sorry I never wished for this to happen.
Dianne: Joseph Graham Sugg it's not your fault don't ever think that it is! It's not your fault! There's nothing we can do now but grief, try out best to get you healthy, and look forward for the birth of our beautiful baby girl.
Joe: you have no idea how much I love you!
Dianne: well I love you so much more.

Then the rest of the family arrived the hospital, all were very sympathetic towards both joe and dianne! They stayed for a while before leaving but Dianne knew that she had the best family in the world that would support her through anything along side a supportive and sexy and nice and caring the list could go on really, boyfriend who was strong and was gonna beat the hell out of cancer!
