- Chapter 8: Giran's Deal -

Shigaraki winced in pain as he moved to sit up, his thumbs tucked firmly into his closed palms as to not dust his bed sheets and mattress. I swear when I get my hands around that hero, Snipe, it'll be game over. He hissed viciously as electric like pain ripped through his thin, yet toned body. Shigaraki's metabolism had always been on the fast side. "Damned hero." The ruby eyed male muttered through clenched teeth, reaching up to scratch at his neck before he caught something out of the corner of his eye. The light from his computer monitor glinting off the object that sat atop his cluttered nightstand.

Reaching out for the small, plastic card, he grasped it loosely with his thumb and index finger. Upon seeing Sunako's smiling picture, he grumbled in agitation. I have no use for this. I should just dust it. He thought bitterly before an idea struck him. Carefully, Shigaraki left the comfort of his bed, which had only been two mattresses stacked atop one another on a cheap metal support frame, and stumbled his way down stairs, where he knew he'd always find Kurogiri cleaning and organizing the bar's fine interior.

"I don't advise that you should be out of bed. You're not yet ready to walk." Kurogiri didn't turn his head, but moved his bright eyes to the direction of his young master. The dapper man set his current glass aside and moved onto the next.

Ignoring his comrade's advice, Shigaraki used the wall to support himself. "Call Giran. I have something for that old geezer to do."

"And what does that consist of?" Kurogiri was inquired, intrigued. Shigaraki never requested Giran unless it was to return an order form or complain about taking Dabi and Toga back. Him and Shigaraki never quite got along and if Shigaraki can't kill what he doesn't like, then he'll avoid it.

Shigaraki held up the glossy badge with a two finger pinch so the taller male could see it. "I want him to find her information. Her quirk, if you want specifics." He chuckled darkly. "If her quirk is strong enough, she'd make a great nomu." And it's better than having to interact and "recruit" low lifes for the doctor's projects.

Halting the cleaning of the speckless shot glass, Kurogiri turned his body completely towards Shigaraki. The mist like man sighed and set the rag and pristine glass aside and crossed his arms neatly behind his back. "I guess now is as good as any to reiterate her proposal to you."

Shigaraki furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance and he scowled. "What proposal? " Does she think she's on our level? She's not even a NPC. let alone a side character. Who does she think she is? "What could she possibly offer that the league doesn't have?"

Kurogiri offered a short sigh before speaking. "In part for sparing her life, she offered to join your cause and offer her medical assistance." He cocked his head to the side. "I think it'd be a wise choice, having her in our arsenal."

"No." He stated quickly with venom and no second thought. Not bothering to hear the older man out. "I hate her." He seethed. "Hero loving filth." He growled through clenched teeth as another wave of pain washed over him. And she didn't give me anything for the pain.

"I'm aware Tomura, but she could be of use to the league." Kurogiri resumed the cleaning of his drinking glasses.

Shigaraki scoffed. "Whatever. Get Giran on the phone." the chapped male ordered stubbornly before making his way back up to his room.

About an hour went by of Shigaraki aimlessly playing video games before there was a knock at his bedroom door. Hunched over in his fraying computer chair, he pulled his fixated view from the bright computer monitor to stare in the direction of his locked door. "What?" He asked flatly, pausing his game. He had been playing more as of recent. That's all he could do comfortably, it wasn't like he could do much with his injuries.
