It's hard losing someone you love, but it's harder seeing someone that you love dearly die slowly because they lost someone that they loved.

Draco has been looking like a grenade has been thrown at him for weeks, since, well, Astoria, his wife, died. I mean, who could blame him? Losing your partner would be very hard.

So, you offered to drop Scorpius at platform 9 3/4.

Right now, you were walking with Scorpius towards the train, and when you reached the entrance of the train, you faced Scorpius, him doing the same

"write to us, or me when you need something, alright?" you said to him, giving him a sad smile

He smiled back, "ofcourse, Y/N." then he stopped, he hesitantly said, "take care of dad while i'm gone?"

You felt your heart melt, both boys do really love eachother, "don't i always?" you teased, making him smile, "well, why dont you get going and find Albus? I need to get back to your father to check up on him." you said, ruffling his hair, making him avoid your hands

"okay, okay!" he said then started walking away. "bye Y/N! See you in the holidays!" he shouted, waving, then entered train

You smiled, hugging yourself as the train starts to leave. You waved at Scorpius, who's waving back at you with a sad smile on his face

Silence was all you heard as you enered the Malfoy Manor. The aura of the house was gloomy, and filled with sadness.

You sigh, deciding to go upstairs, to Draco's room.

The creak of the staircase filled the silence, making you atleast calm a little, hearing atleast something.

You walked towards his bedroom's door, and lifted your fist to knock. You hesitated, but after a few seconds, you decided, it'll be best to check on him.

You knocked three times, then you waited, no one answered.

"Draco?" you said, knocking softly again. when no one answered, you decided to open the door a little, "Draco?" you said again.

And he was there, on the edge of his bed, sniffling.

Your heart broke into a million pieces, you just couldnt take seeing your bestfriend like this.

So you went into the room, closing the door behind you and sitting down beside him. You placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, making him look up to you.
