Halloween, a very fun holiday.. For some.

But as for you, it wasn't exactly the best.

It's a scary holiday, you cant deny that. You also cant avoid scary stories, and when unlucky, pranks.

Today was the morning of October 31st, of 1995. Some students left yesterday to go home, but you didn't, because unfortunately, your parents decided it was fun to go on holiday, without you

They said, "just stay in school, we don't want you to go with us"

Okay, not in those words, they said it much nicer, but it was obvious that they didn't want you to tag along

So, now, you're stuck here in school.

Not that you minded, you love school. You loved learning, Merlin's beard, you're a bloody Ravenclaw. You also love that you can stay with your friends, so it wasn't a big loss

Entering the great hall, you saw that most of the students have left to go home. But there's still a big portion of students who stayed

For instance, there's some Hufflepuffs, the golden trio, there's the Weasleys, your friends, some Slytherins

But the one person that caught your eye is, Draco Malfoy

Out of all the students in Hogwarts, he's the only one who seems to hate you. You don't understand, you've been kind to everyone, even him, but he doesn't seem to want to be friends

With a shrug, you walked over to the Ravenclaw table. You sat down beside Luna, and infront of Cho

"good morning", you said with a smile

"good morning, Y/N", Luna said with her dreamy voice, and Cho just gave you a small smile and a nod. 

you filled your plate with food, and once satisfied with your food choices, you look at your fellow Ravenclaws, "it's Halloween, do any of you have plans?" 

Cho shook her head, "but i heard the Gryffindors are throwing a little Halloween party later, i was thinking maybe we could go." she said, making you raise an eyebrow

"is that even allowed?" you asked

"no, the teachers dont know anything about it, exciting, right?" Cho exclaimed

you shook your head with a smile, "why do i have a feeling that you just want to go because Potter's going to be there?" you tease, making the dark haired girl blush
