Emily Davis did not know how to explain what she had seen.Casey MacDonald was her best friend and regardless of attending different universities they had stayed close.At the beach party Emily arrived and noticed that both Derek and Casey were missing in action and asked other party goers where they were and once pointed in their direction she took off to see if Casey was ok.She had stomach medication in her bag just in case.

Once she spotted them she waved but was not noticed by either then she saw what she shouldn't have seen.Casey and Derek were dancing and she decided to see what was going on and came closer and hid behind a tree.The dancing grew inappropriate and intimate between them.Emily was shocked and confused,what were they doing.Suddenly Emily remembered every weird moment she and everyone else had been privy to while in secondary school.

How in D-Rock Casey and Derek looked more like a couple then simply band mates. How at the beginning of school a few girls thought Casey was Dereks girlfriend but those rumours were put to bed early on.But the assumption was made.Although they were just dancing thought Emily and even though it looked odd and inappropriate it's not like they kissed .That line Emily did not see them cross but when she tried to go to sleep that night she couldn't.also how when they hung out with Sam and Ralph,Casey and Derek disappeared at Smelly Nelly's and came back behaving oddly. Her mind was a jumbled mess.

Endless moments flashed through her mind,stolen looks and smiles.Casey and Derek always seem like fire and gasoline to her and their parents had had a baby so they share a little Venturi-MacDonald brother.Even though they are step siblings to one another they are half siblings to baby Blake. The more Emily thought the more her stomach felt uneasy and the less sleep she accomplished.

She couldn't even ask Casey about it because it was just dancing.The feeling still did not go away and Emily remembered how jealous Derek got over Casey,had she and everyone else just mistook that for brotherly affection. How could they do this and just what are they doing and sure a lot of people thought that Casey and Derek would of dated had their parents not married but what if they were,how do you even bridge this kind of subject? Is it incest even though they don't share a mom and dad,they are half siblings.God the pain of what she saw made Emily pass out and in her dreams she pictured Derek and Casey,yes Emily had crushed on and dated Derek in the past but like tonight she proved to herself she moved on.Even the casual conversation with Sheldon proved it. She woke up unable to actually sleep so Emily let her mind race about the beach party.

Emily loved her boyfriend at university and unlike most of her classmates she was not interested in taking a trip down memory lane. Maybe she was jumping to conclusions and crazy notions.Finally her mind cooled and Emily faded into a peaceful sleep.
