Dasey (Derek and Casey) Life With Derek

Together.

I lifted up Casey and took her to the bed,she was sound asleep. I moved to clean the dishes and put away the left overs and in these moments I back track my life and our life together. I know she's sad and disappointed in what is and I want to try to help her but not sure how. I hear my cell go off and it's Emily's tone.

"Hey Emily".

"Hey Derek,how are you? How's Casey I wanted to call and just ask?".

"I know Casey's worried about everything and I don't know how to help".

"Talk to her Derek,the relationship between you two isn't an easy one but it's you and Casey's story".

"That's beautifully put Em".

When I got off the phone I wanted to surprise Casey so I called a Thai food place and ordered two meals. I got dressed and put on a plaid shirt and suit jacket. I pull a sunflower from the bouquet I got Casey days ago and when Casey wakes up she sees some star lights on and a dimmed room with me feeling like an idiot. Holding a sunflower, she just smiles at me.

"Well this is a cute date night,let me go match your look".

"Okay I'll be here holding a flower".

"That you will".

When Casey came out she was wearing a cute top with a clutch bag and jeans. Her hair in a half up half down pony tail look,she looked so wonderful. Casey walked up to me and looked at the flower.

"You are priceless Derek".

*knock knock.

"That's the Thai food".

I went to get the order and paid the Uber eats guy,they over charge in my opinion but moving on. I got myself the 'Tom yum goong' which is just spicy shrimp soup and Casey's favourite which is 'sum tum' just spicy green papaya salad. Casey just smiled as I put the food on the table.

"Honey you baked".

"I slaved over a hot app all day just for you".

"Haha well thank you,this is a cute surprise for the evening".

I turned on the music and played a slow song and made my way over to Casey and she was so beautiful and calm.

"Care to dance?".

"No no I'll just stand here...kidding I would love to".

I grabbed her into my arms and we swayed back and forth. The song was sad but beautiful and my resolve is strong but I want to help ease Casey's stress.

"Casey do you want to talk to someone about how you feel about us?".

"Like a therapist?".

"We could do it together or you can do it solo just to help you with your anxiety and stress".

"I'll think about it Derek,thank you so much".
