Sally.

With I and Casey intending to have a child I moved up the wedding to next month. Casey was excited and so was I,it crossed my mind that our child would be baby Blake's cousin and or uncle. Semantics aside I was happy when I was at work I was getting many documents and witness statements ready for an upcoming case for the firm. My phone buzzed.

"Hey Derek...been awhile."

"Whose this?."

I remembered the heartache I felt and how I wanted to chase this girl to Vancouver. How we broke up and I wasn't right for along time and hearing from Sally made me nervous. But not like how it used to. I was nervous about who she talked to and how she got my new number.

"Are you free to meet up?."

I saw Sally sitting at the slytherin section and joined her. She smiled and I smiled back. I felt a love for her but it's more of fondness for someone I once loved and she told me about herself. How she loved her job as a school teacher and is dating someone back in Vancouver. She said she was in town visiting.

"I got your new digits from Edwin."

"Ah..what'd he say?."

"Nothing but I see you are wearing a ring?."

I forgot to take my engagement ring off and didn't know what to say or how to respond. Should I lie? I thought about it but it didn't seem fair to Sally.

"I'm marrying....Casey."

"I'm sorry!?."

"Casey MacDonald is about to be my wife."

"I....wow....that's a lot to process."

"I love her Sally."

"I see well in that case I support you two! How did it even start."

"It started the day we met and it's been going downhill ever since."

"How do you mean?."

"I can't stop loving her and I can't wait to have kids with her."

"AWH Derek look at you all grown up."

"Yeah yeah haha."

Suddenly Sally started crying but they were small sobs and tears. She expressed fear for me and Casey and how dangerous this love is but I told her how I have my resolve and Casey has hers. That we are more than determined to make it work. She smiled and we hugged after parting and Sally made sure that I promised to send her a wedding invite which I told her I happily would.

Once at home I told Casey I saw Sally and she looked a little shaken hearing that. She asked how it all went.

"Well she wants a wedding invitation."

"That's amazing I'm so glad."

"Can I have a kiss."

"Haha come here Derek."

This was the happiness most people never find here in this place. Holding Casey I felt the most peace and calm. She is everything I could want.

"You know according to my tracker app,today is ideal if I want to get pregnant."

"Then we better get started."

After we were done I looked at Casey she was upside down to the wall. Legs high in the air and I couldn't help but chuckle I knew why but it was sort of funny to see that up close. We are supposed to meet the wedding planner tomorrow. We are both paying for our wedding. I showered first and Casey came in to join me. She looked so beautiful in the shower with the water hitting her body. I kiss her while we are under the shower head with the water splashing us both.

"I can't wait to be your wife."

"I can't wait to be your husband."

Although I thought of the people who wouldn't be at the wedding. Mainly our parents and siblings and I wasn't sure Casey's grandma would come or my mom. Besides friends I knew this would be a small ceremony. But looking at Casey now I felt happy regardless of whose there and who isn't because we finally have one another.

"Derek did you wanna try it in the shower."

"Haha well isn't that a movie trope."

"Must be true and I wanna try it if you do."
