I got amazing grades on my finales and with relief on everyone's faces the months blurred.It was time for the frats party and even though I and Derek couldn't officially go,I and Tess were officially invited. So I dressed up in a Victorian-esque outfit. Tess dressed as a knight with some armour and off we went.

The frats Greek alumni were there and then the hotel space they paid for was ours. Derek just dressed up with a tie and jean jacket but he looked so sexy with his shaggy hair and devil may care way that I smiled. "Who are you excited to see?".Probed Tess but I just came up with a story about how amazing this party looked which wasn't a complete lie,the decorations were good and the food looked tasty. "Okay well I see food so pardon me m'lady" and away Tess went.

Derek was talking to someone so I made my way to the picture booth but then felt someone take my wrist.Brad was dressed up like a Disney prince which I laughed at because wasn't Hans from frozen also a prince and a villain. "Let me go!" I told him and instead he dragged me to the dance floor "one dance?" I saw his expression and he looked like a sad puppy. "Fine but anything inappropriate and your dead". He smiled and then a sweet slow song came on. "Is this experience by ludovico einaudi!?" I couldn't believe that someone else liked classical like I did "I wonder who requested it?".Everyone looked equally confused by the music change "I did,it calms me down,it's beautiful right?" I was surprised and as Bradly began the waltz I felt a pang of something.Maybe it's because we like the same music.

We swayed and it was like dancing on a cloud,Bradly was so light on his feet and full of surprises.I never noticed how beautiful his blue eyes were,I smiled and he put his chin on my shoulder and leaned me into his torso. I felt guilty and sick,this man tired to hurt me.He hurts others.Suddenly he twirled me and kissed my hand "I think I've irritated Venturi enough,thanks princess". And with that peck to my hand,I turned and Derek was holding it in but the rage below the surface was bubbling to the top.

The song ended after Bradly kissed my hand and I made my way toward the food while worried about why I let that happen. Tess made her way to me "didn't know you like it rough Case" I turned to her "what are you talking about!" She just sighed at me "didn't you tell me he forced a kiss on you in our dorm but here you two are looking like Cinderella and Prince Charming?" She was worried and she had reason to be but I told her it was a harmless dance and she smiled. We returned to joking about all the food she ate,she said she ate her nights worth for coming out.

I saw Derek approaching us and he looked calm and then asked Tess to take my camera "hey let's take a selfie for the folks" Derek was confused. "Wait?what!" And I got him to pose and click went my phones camera but Tess left the flash on. "Oh well we still look great,thanks Derek" and I made an excuse to go to the bathroom.

I checked inside and no one was there "MacDonald what are you doing?you finally got the man of your dreams! Why did you dance with human garbage!".I splashed some water lightly on my cheeks and touched up my make up a little and composed myself enough to go meet up with Derek and Tess. Outside the bathroom I saw Brad I was tired of this "stop following me and bombing me with your assaults!". He was leaning at the wall and simply said "we danced but I bet you can't or wouldn't dare dance with Derek like that because you know what will happen when you do".He kept pointing out the obvious but it hurt still and cut into me like a knife. "Doesn't matter I still love him" no one was around at the moment to hear me and Brad smiled "for now but no girl wants to be a dirty little secret forever." Brad then gave my cheek a peck and stared into my eyes.I felt like a fly caught in a monsters trap. So I walked off and left the conversation on the ground.
