Ryu POV

It all started so fast that I didn't realize what was going on for a second. It started with this.

Flashback

Gaara has just encased himself in a dome of hardened sand that Sasuke couldn't seem to penetrate.

Ryu: Sasuke doesn't have a chance of breaking that thing. Even if he has some newfound speed, if he doesn't have enough penetrating power he'll never be able to break through that thing.

Kakashi: Good thing he does know something like that.

Kira: Huh?

Naruto: This isn't the time for talking!

Kakashi: Your right, so shut up and watch.

We watched Sasuke who was on the wall preform multiple hand signs.

Kira: Those hand signs.

Ryu: You didn't.

Just then, a sound of 1000 birds chirping filled my ears. I turned back to see Sasuke with lightning in his hand, and one of his Sharingan at 3 tomoes.

Gai: But- it cant be.

Kakashi: If you wondered why I always insisted on training Sasuke myself, now you know. It's because he's like me.

Sasuke pulled his arm back and ran down the wall leaving a trail of destruction.

Kira: So a physical activation.

Gai: I see. That's what you were doing all this time. You were building his speed up to the level required.

Kakashi: Exactly.

Ryu: So you were playing favorites then.

Kakashi: I mean-

Kira: No it's fine we get it. It would be to much work for you to train Naruto or even let him come along.

Kakashi: ...I can never win.

Sakura: It's amazing. His chakra is visible. I didn't know he was already at the level for that. I can barely understand how it's possible.

Ryu: It might have taken him 3 months since we met to get to there but at least he is.

Sasuke crashed to the ground and I could hear his battle cry.

Naruto: Woah! I've never seen him do that before!

Haku: That bizarre noise, is it the same kind of technique Ryu has?

Gai: It's a jab. But this jab is one an incredible level.

Kira: It's the only weapon that Kakashi wanted to put in his arsenal by creating it.

Ryu: When it comes to assassinations that kind of attack is the strongest.

Gai: The secret of the jab is in which the speed it is delivered, and the ninjas ability to focus their chakra at the point of impact. Once these two elements, speed and focus, have achieved a certain level, the chakra actually becomes visible, and gives of the distinctive sound you hear now.

Kira: This sound is what gives the technique its name.

Sasuke lunges forward forging the sand spikes that were thrown at him. He threw his arm in front of the dome piercing through it.

Ryu: Chidori, One Thousand Birds.

Gai: Also known, as Lightning Blade.

Sakura: Why's that?
