Chapter 6 Flashback to the past

As I got out the shower, I continue to think where in the world have, I heard that name before. Lose in my own world, I did not hear my mother knock on the door.

Yasuko: Little Flower are you ok

Asami: "jump" Oh mother it you and yes, I am fine

Yasuko: Are you sure, you kind of look like you were lost in your own head there

Asami: Yes, I am just having a hard try trying to figure something out, that is all

Yasuko: Oh boy, well listen get dress and meet me in the tearoom

Asami: Yes mother

Just as my mother close my bedroom door, I finish getting dress. Today I decide you wear black leggings and a red short that hang off my shoulder. I check my make up and make my way down to the tearoom. It was supposed to be a genuinely nice day and I am supposed to linking up with the crew later that day. As I came into view with the tearoom, I can hear my parents' talk about their plans for the day. I put on a smile and enter the room.

Asami: Good Morning Father and Mother

Yasuko: Morning little flower

Hiroshi: Morning Sami

Asami: How are you this morning

Hiroshi: Good, now come talk to us your mother say you was very distance this morning

Asami: It not like that, well maybe if I explain what happen this morning than you might be able to happen

Both of my parents' just nod their head, agreeing for me to go on with my story. So I told them how I ran in to Korren this morning, leaving out the part with me checking him out and how his name been suck in my head now like I know I have heard that name before. That is when my mother got up and went to the book shift with all my pictures and things she kept as I was grown up. She came back with my elementary yearbook and hand it to me. I just look at her with a puzzle look and then back at my father. He had a smile on his face because I guess he figure out what my mother was getting at

Yasuko: Are you sure that he says his name was Korren

Asami: yes mother you do not hear name like that everyday

Yasuko: Then I want you to look at page ten and the last page after

I turn to page ten and there was my class picture with all my friends from when I was little. Its when I notice just to my right was a small tan boy with a smile so big and his name was Korren. I hurry and flip to the last page and in blue crayon was "Princess Asami I will marry you one day your knight Korren". Just as I just reading, I get a flashback of my young days and remember I would also play with Korren because his mom and me was the best of friends. We would do everything together up until that very day where Korren father, had to take them away and I never heard from him again. All I could do was look at my mother and try to put the piece together.

Hiroshi: Sami are you ok

Asami: Yes, but that was so long ago, and I do remember you not like his father as much so we only had few play date

Hiroshi: Oh, "laughing: It not that I did not like him its just we was getting so close and I knew you and his son was great friend I try to get him to stay but he just did not want to listen to reason, so we start having our differences.

Yasuko: Oh yes and me and Senna would always joke how you to would get marry but of course at a young age Korren was first to yell no ma'am, Asami is a princess she have to marry a prince for I am just her knight to protect her

I just smile as mother and father would on about how much we would play and how Korren would always try to protect me even if I was the one causing trouble some time. I did not realize I was crying until my father look at me with worry eyes.

Hiroshi: Oh Sami, what is wrong

Asami: I did not realize how close we were until you start telling me all the story and it seem like he was my first love as a kid

Yasuko: Little flower I do believe he was, but as you can see life have their own path for each person. Why don't you try, and reach find him and rekindle that friendship?

Hiroshi: If he anything like he was when he was young, I would mind you even start dating him compare to that Mako kid and what was his name, oh Iroh.

Asami: Oh father it not going to happen do you realize how rare it was just for me to bump into him

Just as my father was about to say something my ping with a message from my friends. I just smile and look at my parents, Before I left, I gave them each a hug and kiss and said as fun as this was talking I about to head out to meet up with the crew. I turn and leave but not before hearing my father

Hiroshi: Yasuko do you think she will every realize, we knew she was love with him and got so mad when he kept saying she had to marry a prince and not a knight.

I so shock my head and text the crew back saying I'll meet you at the mall in a few.
