Look at me writing a story! It's almost 4 a.m. and I'm not tired! What's up with that!? But I hope you like this chapter! Written 1-26-20.Happy reading!

Merlin told Arthur about his magic two months ago. Arthur took it well.

—-Flashback—-

"Arthur, I need to tell you something. And you can't freak out. Ok?"

"When have I ever freaked out over something?"

"There was that one time when you had to take some herbs from Gaius and you freaked out then."

"Shut up, Merlin. Just tell me what you need to."

"Alrighty, I have magic. But I've never used it for anything except for the good of the kingdom! I promise. I only use it to protect you! I promise!"

"That's fine. I have been thinking that magic isn't bad. Just some of the people that use it."

—-End of Flashback—-

Magic was legal now. It was taking a while for the kingdom to welcome it back, but most were welcoming of it. It certainly helped that Merlin was the reason that magic was back. Everyone loves Merlin.

...

Arthur was being overbearing again. He had been showing Merlin off all day!

"Gwaine, have you seen Merlin start a fire? It's bloody brilliant!"

"Yes, Princess. I have seen my best friend start a fire before. Now, I have some stuff to do. See you later Merlin!"

"Bye, Gwaine!"

...

"Leon! Have you seen Merlin sharpen my sword with magic!?"

"Sure, I'm extremely sorry, but I have to go to training. I'll be sure to watch it sometime."

"Good. Have a lovely day, Leon!"

"Bye. See you later, Merlin!"

"Bye, Leon!"

It kept happening! Every person that they see is asked if they've seen Merlin do magic. By the end of the week, everyone in the entire kingdom had seen Merlin use his magic one way or another.
