K Y L E R"Samantha, if you don't get your ass here right now, I swear to all that is holy I will-"
"I'm coming!" Her muffled voice yelled back from the bathroom.
"Do you both have to be this loud at fucking eight in the morning?" Aiden grumbled, looking up from his phone with the most annoyed expression ever.
"Well I wouldn't have to raise my voice if your stupid girlfriend would just hurry the fuck up." I snapped and he threw me the biggest death glare he could muster this early.
It was safe to say that neither one of us was a morning person.
I pulled on my shoes before looking at the clock one last time; it's not like we were getting late but waiting for Sam to get ready while Aiden muttered a string of curse words directed towards the both of us wasn't the best way to start your morning. A Monday morning, to be exact.
I rubbed a hand over my face as I let out an annoyed sigh. Last night, Sam and Aiden decided to crash at my place and I didn't care enough to protest.
But boy, was I regretting my decision right now.
The floor of my room was covered in pillows and blankets, along with small wrappers of food these two dipshits were too lazy to throw in the trash. I jumped over the sheets, careful to not dirty them up with my shoes as I made my way over to my table. I grabbed my bag and phone and swung it over my shoulder. Looking up, my eyes landed on the closed curtains of her window and instantly this weird feeling spread in my chest.
Shaking my head slightly, I sighed heavily before shutting my own curtains. It's too damn early to let such stupid thoughts consume me.
"Okay, I'm ready," Sam muttered, exiting the bathroom and carelessly walking over the sheets to grab her phone from my bedside table. I instantly felt too tired to respond to her with any witty remark and simply nodded.
My eyes fell on Aiden who was already staring right at me, a small smirk playing on his lips.
I scowled immediately. "What now?"
"Nothing." He said, pushing himself up. "Just noticing how whipped you've become over a certain someone."
I grimaced at his choice of words before mustering a glare. "You sound like Sam." I deadpanned.
"Now what's that supposed to mean?" She stared at me with an over dramatically accusing look and I simply rolled my eyes at her.
Ignoring both of them, I walked away from the desk and pulled open my bedroom door before quickly making my way downstairs.
"Ky?" I heard mom's voice call from the kitchen just as all three of us reached the front door. I groaned slightly, not in the mood to walk back inside to listen to her.
"Yeah?" I called back, trying to hide my annoyance by keeping my voice emotionless.
"I need to speak to you." Was her reply. I quickly told Sam and Aiden to wait for me in the car before making my to the kitchen.
She sat on the table with a cup of coffee in front of her. Although her posture seemed relaxed, the look on her face told me I was in for some deep shit this fine morning.
