"Have you seen a sunset turn into a sunrise?
Kiss right through the night?
Cause we should try that sometime."It felt as if my heart would explode out of my chest any second.
I stared at the ceiling with a ridiculous grin etched onto my face as memories from last night replayed in my head over and over again. And to be quite honest, I didn't mind one bit.
Because last night, I had taken the girl I liked to a museum. Last night, I got the chance to see her smile and laugh because of me. Last night, I was able to pour a little of my heart out to her, even if it was in the form of a very cheesy compliment. Last night, my best friend, the girl I liked more than anyone on this planet, kissed me.
Last night, Luna freaking Hudson kissed me.
And boy, did it feel good.
After that sweet, yet passionate kiss we shared, I felt over the moon. I couldn't explain how euphoric it felt. I couldn't explain the weird flutter in my chest or the way I felt like I would burst with happiness. But for the first time ever, I didn't mind that feeling.
Because the second Luna's lips connected with mine, it felt like everything had aligned perfectly. I had never expected for it to happen this soon. And I certainly had not expected her to make the first move, ever. But here I was, still shocked over the fact that the girl I was head over heals for had freaking kissed me.

"What's gotten you in such a good mood this morning, huh?" Sam nudged me and I didn't have to look at her face to tell that she was smirking.
"Nothing." I responded but even as I said that a huge grin was etched onto my face.
She hummed in response, obviously not believing my obvious lie. "Well when you're ready to tell me about what went down between you and miss perfect, you know where to find me."
And with that she stalked away, giving me a chance to roll my eyes at her back. I shut my locker before making my way to the library, where our Literature class was going to be held.
I hadn't seen Luna all morning but I knew I was going to see her in third period right now. So as I walked into the library, my eyes instantly skimmed the small group of teenagers I could see but there was no sign of her. I frowned slightly.
Before I could pull out my phone and make sure she was okay, the class was silenced by Ms. Eleanor.
I took a seat on one of the chairs near the window as she cheerfully explained how we were to start The Great Gatsby today which caused me to scowl even more as I had not read that book yet. Once she was done with explaining the plan, I got up from my seat and made my way to the classics section of the library, trying to find a copy of the book.
My eyes skimmed through the badly organised shelves until they landed on a thin book which caused a small smile to spread on my lips.
"That's dumb." Luna commented and I scoffed.
"No it's not! Romeo and Juliet is one of the best classics ever." I replied but couldn't help but smile as Luna began to argue with me.
