"Oh I don't know why
she's just my type."Seeing her lay on the bed, clutching her stomach while she laughed out loud was more than enough to instantly put a huge smile on my face and it was as if her laughter was contagious because I soon found myself joining Luna in her laughing fit, although I still felt slightly embarrassed.
"You should have seen your face!" She laughed, unable to even get the words out properly due to how hard she was laughing. Embarrassed, I scratched the back of my neck before walking over to join her on the bed just as she wiped the tears from her eyes, her laughter subsiding only slightly.
"You're blushing." She commented, pointing at my face and I rolled my eyes playfully even though I was positive I was turning a crimson colour.
"I'm not used to this, okay?" I mumbled, flopping down on the bed and turning my body to face hers. She was grinning softly as I reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You've never had a girlfriend who has a period?" She rolled her eyes but her smile never wavered and the sight of all that joy on her face was enough to make a warm feeling spread in my chest.
I shrugged slightly. "None of them have ever been open about it."
Luna reached out and pinched my cheek before rolling over to get up from the bed. "Well, you better get used to it."
I groaned as she nudged me to get up. "Can't we just stay in bed all day?"
Rolling her eyes, she reached down to pull on her shoes. "Yeah, that's what we've been doing since morning."
"I don't wanna go." I pouted but still crawled out of bed because, knowing Luna, she would find a way to pull me out of the house no matter how unwilling I was.
"Should've thought of that before you made the promise." She commented, amusement dancing across her eyes as I rolled my eyes, flipping her off before grudgingly grabbing my keys from my desk.
I heard her chuckle as she followed me down the stairs and even though I didn't want leave the house right now, I still found myself smiling on my own as we both walked over to my car.
"Alright, where do you want to go?" I sighed, starting the car before turning to look at Luna who was staring down at her phone, her knees pulled up to her chest.
"The closest supermarket." She looked up, her eyes glittering slightly and I frowned but started driving anyways.
"Why the fuck do you want to go to the supermarket?" I questioned, my eyes flickering to look at her and she had a smirk on her face.
"I need a few things." She shrugged and I rolled my eyes.
"Wow, so specific." She laughed at that and the sound of her soft giggles caused a smile to split on my lips. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her look up from her phone just as I pulled into the parking lot of the supermarket.
She reached to unbuckle her seatbelt and I did the same before turning to give her a blank stare.
"If you even think of pulling me into the tampon isle, we're over." A mischievous smirk spread on her face and she reached for the door handle, pulling it open.
