K Y L E R"I only lose my mind when
I ain't got you.""This was stupid." Aiden murmured from beside me.
"Yeah." Sam agreed. I snapped my head in her direction, annoyance clear on my face.
"This was your idea, Samantha." I deadpanned. She rolled her eyes, not reacting to the use of he full name.
"And you agreed." She shrugged, walking ahead of us. I glared at the back of her head as she began walking towards the parking lot. I could still faintly hear the crowd cheering, although it had died down slightly. The air was freezing cold and I stuffed my hands in my pockets as I followed her.
"You basically dragged us here." Aiden commented as we both caught up to her. I ignored their bickering and leaned against my car as I watched the parking lot start to get crowded.
"No I did not." She rolled her eyes, throwing her arms up in exasperation.
"Next time you want to meet your boyfriend don't drag us into this." I muttered, sharing a smirk with Aiden before pulling out a pack of cigarettes. Sam groaned.
"For the last time he's not my-"I quickly cut her off, lighting the cigar for myself.
"Why couldn't we just stay at home then?" Sam had dragged Aiden and I to the stupid football game the school was hosting against our team and one from another school. I was too tired to focus on anything going on in the field so I had no idea which one of them had lost the game.
All in all, Aiden and I were incredibly pissed due to the screaming crowd surrounding us the entire night. My head was still pounding and that fuelled up my irritation even further.
This time, Aiden and Sam both shared a look.
"Aiden told me what happened last night after I left." Sam said, looking around the parking lot to ignore my questioning gaze. "And there's no way in hell that we are doing that again."
"You were the one who suggested that we got drunk." I deadpanned.
"Yeah, but I didn't know you'd get that drunk." She said, still not meeting my eyes. I looked at Aiden, raising my eyebrows.
"Dude, you've never gotten that drunk in your life. And if Luna didn't come at that moment, you might've continued-"
The mention of Luna made my heart pound ten times faster and I internally cursed myself for that. Although the events of last night were mostly a haze, I remember every second I spent with her.
"Why is it such a big deal?" I groaned, pushing down the thoughts of what happened last night; thoughts of her. Of us.
"Kyler, you've never drank that much." Sam said, finally meeting my eyes. She had a sharp look on her face as she spoke to me, one you didn't get to see often. "Hell you've only ever gotten tipsy and-"
"Can we please not talk about this right now?" I cut her off, growing annoyed by her constant ranting. If they didn't shut up right now, I would most definitely lash out at them both.
