I decided not to go to Kiva and stayed home until t was time to go to class. I left 11:25 to the hub. While I was waiting for bus 14 someone I know from Kiva was there talking to me. I was trying to watch for bus 14 but I guess I still somehow miss it probably because he was talking to me. Luckily bus 30 also goes to QCC and I got on but it doesn't go to the bus stop that's on the campus like bus 14. It stop on the bottom of the hill. I got off at 12:30 so I was late for class. I run up the hill and then into the Administration building. Because I couldn't wait for the elevator I took the stairs. I got to class and took my seat. I was only a few minutes late so it's not too bad. She was just going over our assignments. We have a presentation next week of the first 12 years of our development. After class I took bus 14 to the hub and then bus 7 home.

So far on my poster board for my presentation I have a picture of 9/11 and a picture of when Barack Obama was first inaugurated. I was in preschool during 9/11 so I don't really remember it. I was in 6th grade, 12 years old when Barack Obama was first elected as president so I remember everything of that day. I always love history. I'm more into black history. I looked up to historical people such as Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. There are other people I look up that has also done movements and fight for different people rights. So I was really excited knowing that we were getting the first African American president. My parents voted for him. Too bad I was too young to vote. On the day of his inauguration, I was in my classroom. We were all excited to watch this historical moment. Mrs. St. Thomas set up the TV so we could watch it when it's on. When we were watching it I remember smiling. It was an amazing moment for all of us.

Those pictures are now on my poster board. That's for historical context of my development. Next was the Social influences. It's asking me about views I have that is different from my grandparents. I printed a picture of LGBTQ advocate and a picture of Religion and Spirituality. I had also had to print out 3 young children articles for my class tomorrow.
