At school, I did a speech in front of our class. I was confident of what to say yet I find myself shaking and stumbling upon my words. It's like they drain you of all the confidence you have. Was it pressure? Intimidation?
I can't name the feeling but I still felt it. The feeling that everyone's eyes are on you and they're all waiting for you to mess up to judge you or laugh at you even though you know that it's not true.
It's different, that you know what to do and say than to whether you could do it. The moment you stand before several people, you feel as though you're alone that nobody is on your side and that the whole world is against you.
In order to stand at the front, you must intimidate them so that you won't be the one intimidated to speak. Just like the King of the Lions standing before all the animals in the jungle.
Fear not for those people who stand among the crowds are just waiting for your voice to shoutout their concerns that they couldn't say because they weren't allowed to so feel proud that you have the ability that everyone wants but not all have.
You see, these people that are waiting for you are those herbivores that attend to the Lions Gathering. No matter how loud they shout their voice can't be heard because it's blocked by the Lions Roar and even if their heard, the lions wouldn't pay them any mind because they are lions, who cares if a bunch of rats squeaks. It wouldn't matter to them because those rats are nothing to them.
You who have the power to speak, have the duty to listen to the voiceless and speak for them.
A tiny rat squeaking might just change the whole jungle.
