How bored could you get?

Ever heard of a person going insane from boredom? Well, I bet you thought about it seriously and thought that it was just hyperbole or exaggeration that people would go crazy from boredom. It depends on how patient you are and how bored did you get to drive you insane.

Boredom could mean and lead to a lot of different things. It could be from your lack of interest, dullness or stress.

The feeling you have when you're in class and you don't want to listen and you're not interested in the topic because of the uninteresting and dull way your professor teaches. Or the feeling you have when you are doing absolutely and completely nothing that anything you can do is fine as long as you have something to do. Or maybe the feeling that you have so much to do that it makes you laze around and do nothing which makes you bored because the things you're doing is not interesting or enjoyable at all.

There are different types of it but in the end. It all leads to one answer, boredom.

You know, I missed those times I was a child when I'd roll around the house to cure my boredom and make all the objects around me talk or bring them to life as if everything is magical and lively.

It's just sad thinking about how simple and creative we were as a child because everything seemed so simple, carefree and easy as if nothing else in the world mattered, however, nothing stays the same and remains permanent.

Our view of the world changes it either becomes wider or shallower than before.

People nowadays do social media to entertain their boredom while others risk and take their lives away because they have nothing to do. Can you imagine that level of boredom? It's a whole 360 turn of a situation from talking to yourself and killing yourself.

I guess the proper term would be self-harm.

You see when you're alone and you have nothing to do.

Your mind speaks and does the action. You have a lot of free time to think so
it gives you unnecessary thoughts that you would normally never think about so in order to silence the noise and voices in their head people distract themselves desperately trying to do something else or they either give in to the thoughts and let it consume them which drives them to the brink of insanity.

Boredom is a strong emotion that could either cause you to be creative or drive you insane. Boredom makes you think more so it is only up to control your own emotions and thoughts of what you should be thinking about and what should come inside your mind. The more you give chances to these feelings then the more that you'll be consumed and swallowed.
