Two: Two people to make memories

It's 11pm. The person knocking outside is not Fluke because he is already asleep. Not the old man or P'Apple because they both know I'm reading at this hour. It's definitely Earth.

"Surprise!!!" He cheerfully said as he showed me the two paper bags he's carrying with each of his hands. "Here, for you Phi." I almost dropped the paper bags as he passed them to me so fast. He entered my room without being invited. "Your room is as boring as always. One bed, one cabinet, no study table nor chair. But...oh my gosh, are these mats the same as those being used by parents to protect their babies?!"

Sigh. "You're talking to much. What are these?" Earth sat down beside the bed. I sat beside him.

"Open it. I'm pretty sure you'll like them." A confident smile. He is sure that I will like what he brought me. When did I not like something he gave me? Did I even had the chance to even complain or dislike what he had given me? He always, always makes
it a point that I will like what he gives me.

The first paper bag contains 3 books.

"Wow. I've been looking for these books. How did you find them?" He smiled at me when I looked at him.

"Well, there's a vintage shop near my pad back when I was in New York. Fluke has been asking me for those books because he said he wanted to give them to you." How come he always have the things I'm looking for?

The things inside the other paper bag is more surprising. He bought me medical books.

"Hmmm, I know you wanted to pursue medicine now, and I'm sure you'll be choosing your specialization soon, so I bought books that might help you." He looks satisfied with what he has done and what he said. As always, he is confident of what he is doing. That's why he can go places.

"So, tell me, you want me to take neuro, internal medicine or cardio as my specialization?" Because all the three books are about those specializations. He laughed and nodded.

"Just read them, Phi". And I did read them they are interesting in fact.

When I finished reading, it's already 3am. Thank goodness it is a Friday and I do not have work today.

Sigh.

I just noticed that Earth is sleeping beside me. I did not notice him laying beside me.

I carried him and laid him on the bed, otherwise, his back will hurt, and will get angry and grumpy when he wakes up.

18 degrees Celsius is the best temperature for him while sleeping. Thank goodness my room has been at 19 degrees.

"P'Apple, can I have your number?" I heard Earth asked P'Apple at the coffee shop. He is dressed up: fitted jeans, white t-shirt and gray coat. He's also wearing make-up. "I just want to make sure that when I come back, someone will open the door for me."

"Where are you going? You're all dressed up?" P'Apple asked.

"I'm going on a date Phi!!!" He is so excited as if he never went out on a date before. "Look, this is him." He showed P'Apple his phone, maybe showing the photo of his date.

"Oh, he looks nice." P'Apple sounds excited as well.

"I guess he is a doctor, Phi. He asked me to meet him at the hospital."

"Ohhhhh that would be nice!!!"

"Oh, Phi, he said his work is done. I'll go ahead and meet him." Earth excused himself.

"Okay, then take care." P'Apple said as Earth leaves for his date, with a bright smile on his face. That's always how he looks like when he goes on dates. Nothing's really new.
