Sunday.

Woke up to the smell of satay being cooked. I looked at the clock. It's already 9 am. But who is cooking satay at home this early? I immediately fixed my bed and went out of my room to see who is cooking. From the balcony, I saw P'Ohm grilling in our small garden.  I went down using the outside stairs.

"P'Ohm! Why are you grilling satay this early? And why are you here? Don't you have work today?" He looked at me from head to toe and smiled. I got so conscious I tried to look what I'm wearing. It's just by blue cotton pyjama.

"I heard from a friend you like satay, so I wanted to prepare it for you." And he continue fanning the grill.

"P'Ohm, we can just buy it outside. You don't have to make all this efforts."

He put down the fan. He turned to me, his twinkling eyes looked as me as if telling me to look at them as well.

"I want to make it up to you. I know these past weeks have been hard for you because of me."

I shooked my head.

"P'Ohm, I would be lying if I say that I wasn't affected by what others are saying about me, about us. But you don't have to do anything. You being here, beside me, is enough for me to feel at ease." And I am not lying. No one knew, not even Mild nor P'Ohm nor P'Kao, how relieved I was when I saw P'Ohm the day he returned from his work out of town. I wanted to cry there and then but I don't want him to get worried more.

After grilling, P'Ohm prepared a picnic for us, in our very own garden. We ate brunch, the satay he cooked, and some pastries he took from P'Tawan's shop. I was in my blue pyjamas, while he's in his black t-shirt and white shorts.

The sun is covered by some clouds, and it's a cold morning but I am happy with the person I like.

Monday.

A new week, another chance to improve on my grades. Another week to hear Mild's whining. Another week to...

I saw a man standing in front of the coffee shop. Wearing the same uniform as mine. People walking past through him can't help themselves but notice him, and stare at him.  Who wouldn't? The man has a good body built and has a beautiful face. I'm pretty sure they would melt if they see his twinkling eyes, and his warm smile.

"P'Ohm! Good morning." I greeted him. He removed his earphones from his ears. He smiled back at me.

"Good morning."

"P'Ohm, what are you doing here? Aren't you going to school?"

"I'm waiting for you. Let's go to school together."

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. I wanted to, but considering the controversies lately...

"I miss walking with you to school." He said with a sad smile.

I let out a sigh. How can I resist him?

"Okay, P. Let's go!!!"

While we were walking, I couldn't help it but notice how people look at us. P'Ohm doesn't seem to be bothered. He just keep on walking so close to me. Sometimes he talks to me. And when we crossed the street,  I was shocked when he took my hand.

"P'Ohm!" I whispered, asking him to let me go.

"I can't let you get hit by a car." He said as he tightens his grip. He might have remembered the first time we went to school together, when I almost crossed the street when the street light is still green.

I thought he will let go of my hand once we crossed the street. But he did not. He held my hand until we reached my classroom.

Tuesday.
