The scent of coffee, the sound of the rain, the cold weather, everything is perfect today in this tropical country. The silence, and the peacefulness I feel today is something I feel like I haven't felt in a long time. Well, except for whoever is coming in to our coffee shop when it says in the sign we are closed.

"Sorry we're closed." I tried to sound cheeful hoping the person backs off and get out as soon as possible. I did not get a response which I usually get when a scenario like this happens.

I turned around and saw Tawan standing in front of the counter, holding up two plastics containing some congee, as if inviting me to eat, or maybe he's just showing off he has food.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him as I turn around to continue making my coffee.

"I should be the one asking you that." He said. I heard the sound of a chair moving.

"You answer me first. Then I'll answer you." I told him as I turn to face him. He is now seated at the table nearest to the counter.

I joined him and handed him some bowls where he can transfer the congee.

"Well," he said as he began to pour the congee onto the bowl, "I know that you've been a loner these days." I raised an eyebrow. Tawan smiled as if he saw my reaction. "I mean, team OhmFluke always exercise early in the morning regardless of the weather unless one of them is sick or too tired. That means today, despite the heavy rain, Ohm fetched Fluke and went somewhere to exercise then later on, they go on a date."

"Okay?" I said. I think I sounded kinda irritated that Tawan laughed at me.

"As for team KaoEarth, it is either both are still sleeping because none of the two are morning person, or Earth went early to the hospital so he can eat breakfast with Kao who just had a night shift. Tell me, which case it is today?" Tawan asked as he passed me a bowl of congee.

"The later." I said before digging in to the food he brought me.

"I see." He took a spoon of congee. "Then for team MewGulf, they're out of town shooting something so definitely, you're alone." Then he chuckled.

"I hate you!" I said to his face because it's annoying. He doesn't have to rub it on my face. "Stop annoying me."

But don't get me wrong. I love the fact that all the kids finally found their love, it's just that sometimes, I miss being with them. We do still hangout, mostly on the first Friday of the month.

"Don't worry, I'll be here for you." He said, with a smile on his face. How reassuring it is. I like it.

Tawan and I eat in silence. We always do. We are more comfortable eating like that. We talk when we're done eating or when we're doing the dishes.

We heard the chimes.

"Sorry we're closed." Tawan said.

We didn't paid that much attention but the thing is, we didn't hear the chimes again, an indication that the person who came in did not leave yet.

I raised by head to see who it was and I was astound. I saw two figures. One is tall and young. I think this is the first time I saw him. He is wearing a navy blue suit and leather black shoes. Sleek.

The other one, I know him. Everyone who went to our university knows him and heard his name at least once. He is old, shorter than the other one. He is in suit as well, but his suit looks finer and more sophisticated than the other one. But of course, he is the Chairman, he should be wearing the best clothes.

But why is he here?

I stood up. I also asked Tawan to stand up. When Tawan was able to see who it was, he was astound as well and felt shy, I saw it on his face.
