"Yes, yes." Mew replied to Apple even if he did not catch what she said. He is busy texting Mark. It has been a week since he stopped replying to his messages. He tried visiting him to his house but he is always not around.

Mew has been wanting to celebrate with Mark. He got casted in another drama again, this time, it's an afternoon drama. Mew has wanted to be part of the drama and got so excited when he got a call to audition. That was two weeks ago, when he was with Mark on a date. Mark seemed so excited that he got the call to audition. Mark even promised to go with him in the audition but failed to because he has an audition that day as well.

"MEW!" Apple raised her voice. Mew stopped typing and looked at Apple who is seated in front of him, beside her is August.

"W-what?" Mew hesitated to ask because Apple seldom raises her voice.

"What do you think are you doing? You've been texting continuously since we arrived. Aren't you going to work on your thesis? We are graduating in a few months. Who are you texting? Is that more important than your thesis?" Apple looked pissed.

Mew didn't know if he is going to tell the truth or not. He decided to do the former.

"Mark. I'm texting Mark." He confessed.

Apple looked at him in disbelief, August looked the same, but Mew sensed he is analysing the situation.

And Mew was right.

"Why? Your drama ended a year ago, and you haven't been doing any commercial or ad campaigns with him. And even if you are his best friend, you wouldn't text him continuously for entire three hours. You don't even text me good morning." August said.

"W-well," Mew think so hard how to explain the situation. Apple and August have their full attention to him. "You know, he is kinda naive and innocent. He goes to  wherever his manager asks him to go. Even if it gets him in trouble. I'm just concerned about him." Mew explained.

The two didn't buy him explanation.

"But still-"

"You know what," Mew cut Apple, "one time I visited him, there was a party hosted by his manager and he was in his room trying to study. I have to sneak him out of his house so that he can go to a place to review." Mew said trying to convince the two that what he is doing is out of concern.

"So, what explains the continuously texting?" August asked again.

"He hasn't texted back or called back since last week. I'm worried that something might have happened." It is evident in Mew's face that he is really worried.

"Have you called his manager?" Apple asked, her tone changed a bit, maybe because she saw that Mew is really worried.

"I did, but he isn't responding as well."

"Mew, I know you are concerned about Mark, but please, focus on your studies. We're almost done." Apple reminded him.

Mew nodded. He knows his responsibilities. He knows that graduating with a degree is very important for him. But at this very moment, none is more important than Mark. He really needs to see him and talk to him.

"Hello lady and gentlemen." Tawan greeted his friends. "Hey, you're still on your phone?" He asked Mew when he saw him still texting.

"Yup, he hasn't stopped since we saw him here." Apple replied on Mew's behalf.

"Hey Mew. The Department Chair wants to see you." Apple and August looked at Tawan in disbelief. "I'm telling the truth. I'm not joking." He said on his defense.
