"Here," Mild is handing me a piece of paper. I'm at the studio doing my assignment for my painting class this semester. It's sunny but it is not humid. The breeze is quite chilly. Haaaay. It's a lazy August afternoon, here is my childhood friend handing me a piece of paper even if he can see that my hands are full of paint.

"Mild, just put it down on that table," I pointed at the table where my things are. "Look, my hands are dirty." I showed him my hand. He smiled at me, an apologetic smile after realizing his mistake.

He immediately put the piece of paper on the table.

"What is that, by the way? An assignment?" I asked him as I continue my painting.

"Nope. It's an instruction. They said we'll be having an activity tomorrow and the paper contains the instructions." Mild explains.

Mild left me after that. He still has class to attend to. I decided to continue my work the following day if the activity Mild mentioned will not take up the whole day.

"FLUKERREEEEEEEEE" Mild said as he drags himself toward me.

"What's wrong with you? Where did your energy go?" Mild looks so pale and tired.

"I was getting to know my mentee last night. How can there be so much thing I do not know about her?! I was not able  to sleep."

I laughed at him. "Why are you taking this competition seriously? Just relax, okay? Your grade is not in jeopardy here."

Mild frowned and pouted. "You know my grades are always in jeopardy!" I laughed at him again.

"Come on, let's go inside." I dragged him inside the auditorium. When almost everyone arrived, they asked us to turn off our phones, and the seniors started handing out the questionnaires. They gave us the freedom to choose where we want to stay within the auditorium while answering the questionnaire. I decided to stay in front of the stage.

Part II: Introduce your mentee.

P'Ohm, that's how I call him. Although I am older than him, we agreed that I will call him P' because it really looks awkward when he calls me P'. P'Ohm is way taller than me. If he ever hug me, I will be hearing his heart beat, that's how tall I am compared to him.

P'Ohm loves water, especially the sea. He grew up near the sea, and thus has a special connection to it, to the point of developing a weird study habit. He is a well-decorated swimmer. But he is humble. He respects his seniors and treat his fellow freshmen as equals.

P'Ohm works part-time in a bakery or breadshop. He is friends with the manager. He loves to eat his friend's creations with hot brewed coffee. Sometimes he also drinks tea.

P'Ohm is a silent type, but not the type that we usually read in comic books. He is silent but warm and kind. He will give answers to your questions. He will respond when needed. Rest assured he will never give unsolicited opinion. There are times that he talks a lot, but it is really rare. So if you happen to be with him in his most talkative self, enjoy it. Savor it.

P'Ohm does not show expression often but look into his eyes and you will get a glimpe of how he feels. If you are lucky, you'll get to hear him laugh. If that happens, you'll also get to witness the dimple on his left cheek. It gets deeper the more he is happy. What makes him laugh is still a mystery, however.

P'Ohm is kind and warm. His physical appearance and facial expressions might not show it but you can feel it through his gaze and actions. You will feel every emotion just by looking in his eyes. And it is funny how he asks you when you react to his gaze but you can't explain to him. He also looks after the people around him. He makes sure that you are comfortable, that you are safe. He looks after you without knowing it because I feel like he doesn't really want to show or at least broadcast what he is doing. He's just silently taking care after you because he wants to do it, he is not pleasing anyone  nor trying to impress anyone. He just wants to take care of you. That's P'Ohm.

I just hope everyone will get to see that side of him or at least realize how precious he is. P'Ohm may look cold-hearted but he has one of the warmest hearts I know.

[After a week]

Student Gov't: Dear mentor and mentee, we are pleased to inform you that you passed the first test of the competition! Congratulations!
