XIV. A Night

"Are you sure you want me to come with you?" Mew asked as the car starts to run. He is seated at the back seat. Kao is driving, Earth beside him.

"Yes, manager!" said Earth, as enthusiastic  as ever.

"But, wouldn't I be a disturbance? I mean, you can go on a date together?" Mew asked again. He knows that he will feel left out with the couple who will get married in a few months.

"Don't worry manager. Promise, you will not feel alone." Earth assured him.

"But...you know, I can just go watch the movie with Apple." Mew suggested. He is referring to one of the latest movies released which he doesn't know the title because it has been a while he watched a movie. He isn't even sure why the two suddenly dragged him out to watch.

"No need for P'Apple to come manager,I got your back!" Earth once again assured him that it is alright for him to join them.

"What do you mean?" Mew asked, still confused of what is happening. Earth did not answer him anymore. He just smiled at him as an answer. Mew was so sleepy he just decided to take a nap.

"We're here." Kao, who has been silently driving, has spoken.

Mew opened his eyes and saw a familiar building. The building still looks the same after all these years.

"Are you sure this is the right location?" Earth asked Kao. "Isn't this the movie house we went to a few years ago?"

Kao nodded. "But this is the location he sent me." Kaso responded.

"He? Who are they talking about?," Mew asked himself. He didn't get to hear what the two were talking because he was engrossed by the building in front of them.

Some happy memories began to flashback  memories that he thought he has already forgotten. But just by the sight of the building, they suddenly popped out.

"What is this? Why am I feeling this way?" He asked himself. "Am I supposed to feel this way after all the things that happened?"

"Guys, isn't this a restaurant?" Mew asked the two. "I thought we are going to watch a movie?"

"Huh? Manager, this is not a restaurant. It's a small cinema house," Earth corrected him. To this, Mew responded with a surprised look.

"Oh, he's here." Said Kao.

Earth and Mew looked outside and they saw Gulf walking towards the car. He came from the building in front of the car.

"Sorry guys, did I make you wait?" Gulf said apologetically as he enters the car.

Mew is surprised. "Why is he here?" He asked himself again.

"Yah!!! Manager,are you surprised? Did you like our surprise?" Earth said when he noticed the shock in Mew's face upon seeing Gulf.

Gulf looked at Mew, Mew looked at Earth, and Earth, well, he pinched their cheeks and told them they're cute.

"Ah, manager, you were saying earlier that the building is a restaurant?" Earth suddenly asked Mew while they're on their way to the mall.

Mew just nodded. He kinda felt awkward seating beside Gulf. He doesn't know why but he always feel that way. It's as if every meeting with Gulf is his first meeting with him.

"Oh, so Phi was able to visit it in its restaurant days." Gulf exclaimed.

"Wait, what?! Really? A restaurant?" Earth asked excitedly.

Gulf nodded. "It used to be one of our restaurants."

"But how did it end up like that P?" Earth asked curiously.
