Apple was startled to find Mew drinking coffee at the dinning table. It's just 4:30am. He's seated facing the pool and the garden, which can be seen through the glass wall. He looks serious and bothered.
"You're up early." Apple said as she walked to the kitchen.
"I'm anxious. And I do not know why. I feel like I'm missing something." He said. The anxiousness is very evident on his face.
"You're missing something? Or you miss someone?" Apple asked to clarify.
"What do you mean?" Mew asked.
"Come on, Mew. After all this time, you're still hiding it in?" Apple said.
"What?!" Mew asked, he started to feel more anxious for not realizing what Apple is talking about.
"You know what, sometimes, I want to hit your head with Fluke and Kao's. Kao was a little bit scared and late to admit but at least he knows how he feels from the very beginning. Fluke was traumatised and that's why it was kinda hard for him to accept it and face it. And you, well, you knew it all along, but you've been so preoccupied with other matters that it has been pushed back a lot of times. Now, you do not remember it anymore but your while system remembers it. And that's why you're feeling that way." Apple complained, and explained.
Mew still didn't get it. But his heart began to beat faster, as if it reacted to what Apple said.
"I'm talking about Gulf." Apple told him so he doesn't need to think anymore. Apple saw the surprise in Mew's face. "Yes. Gulf. I know you've been together these days because of the shooting but tell me, have you talked to him the way you did before? Has he been visiting us lately? Has he been bringing food for you or asking you out?" Apple paused to wait for Mew's response.
Mew shook his head.
"Yup, no. Gulf seems to have kept a distance. I do not know why but I can clearly understand. After everything that happened, you, Mr. Mew Suppasit hasn't made it up to him."
"But-"
"Nope. I'm not talking about you apologising to him. I'm talking about you being honest with yourself and doing what you want, what you've always wanted." Apple lectured Mew.
Mew took a sip from his cup of coffee. Apple was waiting for him to do something but he seemed paralysed.
"You know what, if there is one thing you should learn from that incident with Mark, that is to face it as soon as possible. I know, sometimes it takes time to sort things out, but there are things that need to be faced. And I think this one with Gulf is something that should not take time. Or shall I say take more time. Gulf has been waiting for you for a long time. It's time for you to go to him." After this, Apple left Mew for a while. Then she returned with a phone of her hand.
"Here. Check the messages. I changed it last night." Apple handed him the phone, which Mew recognised to be his old phone.
"What is this?" He asked. He was surprised it is still working.
"Just go to your room and read the messages." Apple instructed.
"Okay?" He said, not sure if Apple is serious.
"You have to comedown at 1pm." Apple told him.
"Why?" Mew is so clueless.
"Let's decide your fate by then."
Mew went up to his room. He laid down in bed and began exploring the phone. He was surprised that there are more than a hundred of messages. When he opened the messages, it all came from one number, Gulf.
