"Secretary Na, can I ask you a question?" I muttered as we drive back to our house. Secretary Na and I didn't ate breakfast at the mansion. He woke me up too early that the people are still asleep. He said I still look uncomfortable when I eat with the Chairman and July's family so he's just taking me out and eat breakfast somewhere.

"Of course." He said, focused on his driving. He looks calm, as always. Yet he really gives off this aura that makes you keep your distance from him.

"Well, okay, I didn't mean to hear it, but I heard you and July talking last night." O tried to sound as normal as possible.

"And?"

"And, well," I really couldn't get the right words to say. "Are they okay?"

"You mean August and July?" He asked, I nodded.

He took sometime to think.

"Don't worry that much, they're fine. What you heard last night isn't unusual. That's July." He explained.

"I don't get it." I frankly said.

Before he could answer, he parked the car in front of a coffeeshop that is already open early in the morning.

He said we should have some coffee and eat a light breakfast. I'm not familiar with the coffeeshop so I asked him to order for me. He came back with a café latte and a bagel. He's having an americano.

"So," he began after taking a sip from his cup, "to answer you question earlier, don't worry too much about August and July. They're so much in love. And what you heard last night," he leaned back, "is a typical July."

"Still, I don't get it." I blurted out before taking a bite of my bagel.

I saw Secretary Na smiled. "You see, July grew up being the center of attention of that house. After all, she's the only child. Everyone's attention is on her. Even mine, when I started working for the Chairman. He always asked me to look after her. She is so used to that much attention that when there is someone who catches the attention of those people close to her, she gets jealous."

"And wouldn't be getting jelous because I'm getting attention from you the same type of jealousy you're supposed to feel when the person you like is liking someone else?" I'm puzzle, you see.

"Not really. It's the type of jealousy that doesn't involve love. Pure attention. And well, she is so used to me taking care of her, because that was my job. She, well, of course, she's used to me giving her extra care and attention because I used to like her. She's not just used to this like of situation." I don't get it why he still looks so okay and composed when I'm kinda worried about the fact that July is jealous.

After that, I ate in silence. He drink his coffee in silence. Then the rain started to pour. It's kinda strong that we almost couldn't see outside.

"I guess, we have to stay here longer." He told me. I nodded.

I looked around and it's just me, him, and the barista at the counter.

"Can I ask you something?" He suddenly said.

I looked at him and nodded. He just asked at the right time when my mouth is full.

He giggled. "What can you say about the rrst of our conversation?"

I almost choke after hearing his question.

"Your reaction tells me you heard everything we talked about. So, what can you say?" He said as if teasing me.

In my defence, they're talking in the freaking room where I'm in, so it's not really my fault if I overheard everything.

"Which part though?" I asked, trying to make him say it.
