Sometimes, I think to myself that I have always been independent that I get to forget I have a boyfriend. There were lots of instances that I forgot to asl Secretary Na of his opinion or his side. I just decide things on my own. Sometimes I also wonder how he never get to bring that up when we're together. It's as if he gets to understand everything I do.
"I love who you are, and I do not plan to change any of it, including how independent you are." He once told me when I asked him. Sometimes, I can't believe that a perso like him exists.
"You see, you're the same to me. You always allow me to do what I have to do. You're not clingy, you do not get jealous that easily, and you always ask me first before reacting." He explained one time we're having dinner.
Well, I'm like that because I know how it feels being bothered while doing a very important work. Also, I hate it when people jump into conclusion even without knowing anything.
Haaaaay, this relationship is smoothly sailing. It is, actually. But that scares me the most.
My phone began ringing. It's Kao.
"P!" That was his greeting. A little bit unusual for Kao. "Have you seen Earth?" He sounds tensed.
"Last I saw him was when I woke up. He went out. He didn't tell me where he is going. Why? What happened?"
"We're supposed to meet for lunch Phi. But he never came. I was calling him, at first he wasn't answering, then later on he cannot be reached anymore." Kao sounds so worried now.
"Okay, okay. Listen Kao, do not panic too much, okay. Have you called the other? Fluke? Ohm?"
"Yes, Phi. No one saw him. He didn't contact any of them." Oh poor Kao, I haven't heard him this worried.
"Okay, well try to look for him. As for you, stay within the vicinity of the restaurant where you should be meeting. He might arrive anytime soon."
After the phone call, I immediately get dressed. Just in time, Secretary Na arrived.
"Aren't you too early to get dressed for our date?" He asked me. Boy, I feel so sorry for him.
"Secretary Na, I'm so sorry. I think we have to cancel our date tonight." I began. I didn't see any sign of disappointment in his eyes, just puzzlement. "Earth is missing. Kao is so worried. So I'm going out now to look for him." I explained even before he could ask a question.
He nodded. "I'll come with you. Don't worry about the date, we can always do it some other time." He assured me.
And so, we looked around the university, we even went to his workplace. They said he didn't go to work today. I alerted Mew and Gulf to help us find Earth. Tawan went to the police station to seek some help. But no one found him.
"Where do you think he could be?" I asked Secretary Na.
He was silent for a while. "Is there a place that is very special or sentimental to him? He asked me.
"I do not know, really. All I know is that he loves being around Kao." I responded.
"And if he is not around Kao?" He asked me again.
"He is at work or watching movies."
"Movies? Does he go to the cinema or just at home?" Secretary Na asked again as if we're in an interrogation.
"He watches at home, but he likes going to this movie house where old films and film thesis are being shown." I responded.
"Let's have a look there."
