I'm nervous. No, I'm extremely nervous! Secretary Na told me that we are going to meet his father. Oh my goodness. To be honest, this never crossed my mind. I never thought of the day that I will meet his dad. I know he used to work for the Chairman, but I never met him.

The kids has given me some advice. The ever cool and chill Kao told me to relax. Hah! As if I can relax. My temper has been getting worse these days because my period is approaching, relaxing would be a struggle. Earth told me to cook and bring food. I can do this, but if I'm being honest, Secretary is a better cook than me. Imagine me giving lesser tasting food that the food his son cooked for him? Not a good idea.

Ohm didn't any give advice, he just wished me luck. As for Fluke, he told me to just be myself. He argued, Secretary Na loves me for who I am, and so will his dad. I'm not pretty sure about this. Secretary Na has seen me from my lowest, so I understand that he has been understanding and considerate. But his dad, this is the first time for us to meet, might as well put my best feet forward.

Gulf adviced me to allow Secretary Na to tale the lead. After all, he knows his father more than anyone else. As for Mew, he just told me to live the moment. Whatever that means, it doesn't make sense.

"Are you ready?" Secretary Na asked me as we parked his car on his father's garage.

I looked outside and I realised, the house is near the sea.

"Is your dad living near the sea?" I asked the obvious. Secretary Na chuckled.

"Yes. And as to why, I really don't know. He always used to say that a friend has made him see yhe beauty of living near the sea. Come on."

We get out of the car and get the things we bought from the market on our way to the house. We decided to just cook for his dad. Secretary Na said that his father loves home-cooked meals.

I followed him inside. I made sure to keep my eyes on the floor because I'm afraid that the first thing that would happen as I enter their house is to meet his father in the eyes.

I think I was so focused on the floor that I didn't notices Secretary Na stopped walking. I bumped by head to his back, and the same time, he dropped the pastic he is holding.

"Sorry, Secretary Na. Wait let me get it." As 8 gather the ingredients that scattered on the floor, Secretary Na did not move nor say a word. Very atypical of him. I didn't bother to look, he has always his reasons.

When I stood up, I came face to face with his father. I knew it was his, he is like a splitting image of his some. I saw confusion then amazement in his eyes. I greeted him, and it took a while before he greeted me back and took the plastic bags from me.

"What are you doing here?" Secretary Na said, anger in his voice. But he was trying so hard to keep that anger in him.

I turned to him and he is furiously looking at something or someone in front of him. Apparently, it's a woman. She's pretty, elegant, and graceful. But she couldn't hide the sadness within her. The make-up on her face couldn't cover how broken she is inside.

"Son." Was the only thing she could say at that time. It's his mother? The mother that left him years ago? What could she be doing here?

I looked at Secretary Na and he is still staring at his mother. Still angry. And I'm pretty sure, his wounds have been reopened again. I took him hand. Held it tightly. I do not know if he needs me at that very moment but I do not want him to feel alone in this moment that he is facing the very first person to made him feel alone.

I felt him held my hand tighter. It's as if he was able to break free. He turned to me and smiled.

"Sorry." He muttered. I can feel him pleading through his eyes. "Can you go with my father for a while?"
