Shelyn whispered for her to go get a salmon. And return back with it. And fillet it. Shed do the rest.
Her attention turned to Calion. This was going to be bold if anything. She pulled Jin close as if shielding him. She leaned in and basically stole a kiss from Calion since all eyes were on them as a group.
He might get made and this might raise a lot of questions but she in a way was posting her own dominance on the situation.
Jin squeaked and wiggled being pressed between the two for a moment. When their lips parted, she whispered one thing. "Ring". What else could she want? It was simply meant to mean that’s all she wanted. And hopefully he understood that she too eventually wanted to be married. It wasn’t that she needed it now. Even if it would set her apart from Amarie.

Calion didn’t hesitate or flinch as Shelyn leaned in to kiss him, even if all eyes looked upon them, he only shut his eyes and parted his lips to suggest she could make it deeper if she wanted. It was apparent the pharaoh had enough experience with pda, and while Shelyn didn’t know all the details of his love life in the past in truth Calion wasn’t a stranger to performing among a good few onlookers.

He licked his lips gently as they separated from the kiss, his eyes looking upon her as if she was the only one around as his brow curiously raised and a faint smile spread across his lips. “I hope you’re willing to ‘earn’ it. Perhaps I should take you away to at least get your finger sized?” He said, with a smirk suggested he just wanted to get her alone. In truth he had no qualms about getting her a ring, although they could never officially announce until she was with child. That being said he would gladly try once or three times a day until such occurred.
“Perhaps I’ll go browse some things.” Calion said, perhaps she wouldn’t be able to wear a ring today, but he could find her something beautiful to adorn her body with. That is if she dared let him shop alone knowing that if she came with him, he highly doubted he’d be able to keep himself behave for much longer.

It’s not what she expected. But she deepened it as best she could with Jin taking up the room she could have used. "Is... that what you want?" She asked. Handing Jin to Amarie and a guard.
Truthfully, she wanted to get alone with him. But how would anyone react seeing him buy a ring? "I have a few things I have to get anyway. If you really want company." She continued. Offering Jin a bit of money. "Make sure Amarie doesn’t lose this. She might need it."
Jin took it. Seeing as how he was just happy to be involved. It never dawned on Shelyn that neither needed money. But she liked paying for her own things. Or at least thinking she did.

“It can’t hurt to browse.” Calion said, genuinely. Despite what Shelyn might think of the way Calion thought of her he was considering truly the possibility of marriage. Not that he would rush into it, but assuming she was capable of taking his seed he saw absolutely no reason to not marry her. Smiling as he awaited Jin to take off and find Amarie as the two of them set to find dinner fixings, he took Shelyn’s hand as he was of mind to bring her towards a rather grand and well-respected jewelry vendor. Such wears were highly expensive for only nobles. The entrance was guarded heavily by mercenaries, to prevent theft, and within the establishment was unlike any vendor one would imagine. There were servants serving drink and food to the shoppers, different sections of the establishment for private browsing. This was not a typical vendor in which one browsed a counter, but an experience where the shopper themselves were pampered. After all the price of the jewelry was obscene.
Naturally when the pharaoh entered with Shelyn at his side they were escorted towards the back and sat down, poured several drinks to which Calion was interested in only water with some sliced lemon at this point in the day while a servant humbly requested what they would like to view today.
“Necklaces, rings, and jewelry for piercings.” He said, looking to Shelyn so she could add anything she had specific interest in. Although the piercings may have caught her off-guard.

Shelyn followed. Lacing fingers in Calion's own as they walked. She had been in the market many times. Of course, as an herbalist she never had much time to wander about since it was always to run errands. But she couldn’t help but give a look of pure wonder and curiosity as Calion brought them to such a heavily guarded place.
She politely refused a drink. Mostly feeling she was too clumsy for it with how nervous and out of place she felt currently.
When asked she simply gave an "okay" agreeing with Calion even though it didn’t dawn on her all that he asked to see.
Her fingers fidgeting with the golden bracelet he had already given her, that she wore on her right hand. Eyes wondering about as they sat there.
She stood out. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Pale skin. Sulking inwardly. Even her clothes looked different than that of these people. Branding her as an outsider despite being born here.
