Shelyn gave an exhausted look at Calion. Clearly Aoi's energy made her exhausted. But she kept smiling to avoid being rude. "I... came just to ask if you wanted anything specific for lunch or dinner today before I sent Amarie out...he ambushed me once I got past the guards..."

"Now now I wouldn’t call it ambushing. More like a had you tag along. After all, how else would you have found brother?" Aoi smirked noticing Calion was holding the hag’s hand. "Oh, my Mirien is that a crow's foot I see? You must tell your servants to use a moisturizer on you at night." He held up Shelyn's hand and rubbed his cheek in the back. Daring the whore to speak out of manner to him. "My...brother have you felt how soft these hands are? It’s as if those years of plucking the harp and herbs have no effect on her delicate skin. Perhaps she can give Mirien pointers."

Shelyn protested with a soft sigh. He was too energetic for these days. But he was funny in how he baited the older woman. At least Shelyn's simple look made her lovely in Aoi's eyes. Of course, Shelyn had join in.
"You know Mirien, I hear there are jobs for old woman. Perhaps Calion will be kind enough to send you to the brothel. It would be a shame if your talents weren’t put to use." She offered this grin of hatred. Slyly flaunting the ring in her ring finger as she placed the hand on her opposite shoulder. "After all you’re even too old to be a nanny. Id fear you’d smother our little ones in their sleep. Or rape them..." she had no issues in saying veil things.
Aoi even blushed. Clearly, he underestimated the little blonde.
Of course, who wouldn’t notice the tension between woman. The aura on Shelyn alone was enough to turn all the flowers in the room to ash.
Aoi cleared his throat and tugged Shelyn back a step. "We are off." He said without giving Calion a chance to protest her leaving. Pulling her along with a smile as he skipped out on his duty. Figuring he might stir the pot with Calion and Shelyn to see if they would break from this
Naturally Calion was unperturbed that Aoi had seized onto Shelyn, after all she could be thought of as a sister of sorts and besides it seemed Shelyn was making friends beyond just him for which he was happy for. Considering if they did marry, she would need to grow more and more familiar with his family and those that reside in the palace. “Just be sure you’re still free for lunch, I’ll send Amarie out for something, you just make sure you’re there.” He said a bit sternly, not as if he were annoyed, but seeing her and now watching her leave reminded him of the fact she’d be off limits for a little while, something which seemed okay earlier, and yet now he already felt the tug from within to want to take her hand and lead her away to a quiet place and run his hands, or tongue, along that soft skin Aoi was flaunting on her.

“What a base and vulgar brat.” Mirien spat out watching the two depart. “Calion, dear, I know you are infatuated with the little blonde angel, but you can’t fault me for counting down the days you grow bored of her and toss her to the side like all the rest. She’s young so I can’t entirely blame her, though she’s going to have to come to terms if she wants to be within our family. Remember, dear…” She still clung to his hand and walked in front of him, pressing her body against his as she leaned up to ever so lightly brush her lips against his jaw line. “Toys will come and go, just as they always have, but in the end, you will always have me by your side. I love you, my pharaoh, even though I know I cannot produce you an heir I will still serve you in any way I can.” She said softly, raising her hand up to his smooth cheek to lower his gaze and near her lips close to his, even if Shelyn could look back and see the two kissing from such an angle.
But of course, Calion paused right before his lips would touch hers. “I do wish you both will come to terms and get along. It’s not as if I expect you to bend over backwards for her, but at the same time I would expect both of you to try and be civil, if possible. Do it for me at the very least.”
Mirien narrowed her eyes. “Of course, my pharaoh. I’ll be a good girl for you.” She said softly still with her body pressed against his before letting go.
With that Calion departed and decided he’d go back to his room to at least inform Amarie of what she should plan on making for their picnic/lunch later in the day.
Shelyn and Aoi didnt reply to the order. Of course, Shelyn wouldn’t think of being late to their little date.
Aoi smirked as they walked. "That bitter hag certainly has her claws in him doesn’t she. The sooner you give my brother a child the sooner that witch will be gone. Of course, it will take planning on your part."
Shelyn tensed. She hoped Calion would run after them and steal her away. "What do you mean?"
"I mean you need to be tying my brother around that lovely little finger of yours. Give him everything without him asking. He is a man no different. Bat those lashes and rule your pharaoh." He explained. Aoi insisting she use the fact she is a woman to woe Calion into giving her everything she wanted. "He has already restricted that woman from his wing. All you must do is be worth enough to banish her."
Calion sighed as he slipped away from the common area and by extension away from Mirien whom between herself and Shelyn had left his blood coursing through his body. Naturally Calion still found the woman attractive and had he been with his concubines there would have been no reason not to bed her this day, the only thing that had changed was his commitment to Shelyn. This was something he wanted to do for Shelyn though, something he could handle. The pharaoh hadn’t been exclusive his entire life, so this was new for him. At the same time this left him a bit ‘heated’ as he had some hours to burn before seeing Shelyn.
Quietly he entered his living area taking a seat on the couch while lightly petting Misha and sighing for a moment. His eyes were dilated, and his mind was in a state of arousal. He called out to Amarie as inwardly he thought to himself how she should have really gone through with taking Shelyn that morning after her bath.
Amarie naturally ‘eeped’ unprepared to be called upon by the pharaoh and hurriedly she stopped tending to her duties to enter the living room. “My Pharaoh?” She asked in a weak voice, her eyes glancing at him for only a moment as she stood on the far side of the room, hands held in front of her and head down. Her dress was flattering to her body type and thin just as most of his servants clothing was.
Considering his lover had been ‘kidnapped’ he needed another source of entertainment, what harm was there in teasing Amarie, after all if he remembered she quite enjoyed such things.
“Come closer, stand before me on the other side of the coffee table. You are Shelyn’s now? I trust you enjoy being at her side? I wonder, do you still serve me?” He raised a brow, lightly stroking the lion as he gazed upon her.
Aoi dragged the young blonde to town. The two alone catching a few eyes and whispers. No doubt they might spread. Especially after yesterday. First a dress shop where Aoi frequented. Unlike his pharaoh of a brother Aoi saw no reason for over special treatment. But he was still respected. The keepers were friendly and polite and assisted however Aoi snapped his dainty fingers.
"And while we are at it. Fit her for something lovely. She is going to be a very important wife soon. She needs dresses that screams royal."
Shelyn put her arms up defensively when the man neared her. But in all things, he was gentle. Aoi giggled as he watched this little girl get measured and fitted. Aoi stroked a few fabrics he liked. Many where that lovely teal that her and Helm looked so pretty in. "This one will be wonderful. Make many dresses of this and white tulle. They must flow like wings. Delicate." He ordered. Handing the fabrics to the assistant before taking Shelyn by the hand and pulling her along.
Next was jewelry. And shoes. And then he got her hairpins and brushes and different face paints of all shades and smells and tastes. Wax, soaps and shampoos for her servant to use and keep her clean. Ordering it all to be sent back to his brother. All this taking what felt like hours.
Amarie clenched her jaw and hurried herself to stand before the table her heart pounding as she spoke. “No, of course I still serve you, simply I wish to fulfill and make miss Shelyn’s stay here as comfortable as I can. If there is anything you need please don’t hesitate in the slightest my pharaoh.” She said, and while she would undoubtedly feel guilty if Calion asked for something inappropriate it would not be her place to deny him. On some level she was both excited as well as ashamed at herself. She truly did look up to Shelyn and wanted to help her though at the same time it’s not as if she had ever truly gotten over her feelings for the pharaoh. Besides… serving him made her feel useful in life, as if she had a purpose.

Calion chuckled lightly. “That’s good, as there is something, I would like you to do that Shelyn cannot right now. In fact…” He bit his cheek, keeping his gaze fixated upon her. “I would prefer it if you do not share this information with her. Our little secret, Amarie.” He said, which left the girl’s eyes going a bit wide as the deepest of blushes began crossing her cheeks, she couldn’t help it. How could she find herself in such a situation?
