Calion returned to his area of the palace, there was only one pathway to his area which was constantly guarded, but beyond the guards it was only typically inhabited by servants or guests. Making his way to his room a servant girl was tidying up, bowing her head in silence knowing better to speak to the pharaoh unless she was spoken to first. Not that Shelyn needed to know these specifics, but it was safe to say that every girl who tended to his room was at one point in the past bedded by him.

Without a care in the world Calion placed the two outfits of jewelry on the bed as well as the ring and earrings and necklace from earlier, paying no mind to the girl who was straightening up. After all, Shelyn had given him what he wanted so there was no need for the pharaoh to stray, instead he only wanted to focus upon making her happier.

Shelyn nodded. "Yes .... that probably would be a better idea....but I have to attend the funeral with..Calion. will you be ok watching over it as it cooks until I got back? I don’t really trust Mirien if she finds out..." she asked. She knew it was a big task to ask of her. But she figured Calion would be making it know after he got home that Amarie was now hers and she had no authority anymore...at least she hoped.
"After I have a few things to see to with one of the generals I think..I’m supposed to collect the things left in Helm's room at the barracks...assuming Calion allows me to keep those items."
Jin coughed. Not a omg I am dying but more from swallowing wrong. Shelyn paniced. Giving him a gently rub on the back. "We will get you some honey tea after we get back? Alright?" Jin nodded. Taking the basket of flowers from the guard
Amarie looked up with big brown eyes and nodded politely. “That’s perfectly fine my lady, I will see to looking over dinner. As for Mirien I am sure matters will sort out alright…” She looked away a bit hesitantly. “I’m following my orders after all.” She said, although in truth she was scared of the woman and what may happen to her if she returned to the Harem’s portion of the palace which was ruled by Mirien. Of course, she could not bring herself to ask Shelyn to have her room relocated, after all Shelyn had already done so much. Amarie would wait on Shelyn and Calion through their dinner when they returned although she very much so was not looking forward to when she was sent back for the night. “If you need anything at all lady Shelyn, please know you can ask at any time. Even in the middle of the night…” She said, almost hoping she’d be called upon even if it was simple cleaning.
Calion waited in his bedroom as he stood before a mirror, the servant girl from earlier had dressed the pharaoh in clean robes, after all it would be insulting to Helm for Calion to show up at the funeral in clothing which had been dirtied from earlier activities. He expected Shelyn would be coming to get dressed soon as well.
