Calion bit his cheek, Aoi was difficult to predict, in some ways he was very polite, although as it related to females he could be a little abrasive and blunt. All the same he thought it would be fine, after all he didn’t expect Aoi to upset a girl who had just lost pretty much her entire family. After the two had been seated Calion decided he’d get green tea for all three of them and moved out from the room and into the kitchen, to which in his surprise Amarie was within washing up dishes.

“Ah, didn’t know anyone was still around.” He said simply.

To which Amarie was startled at the sudden voice and nearly dropped her dish in the sink. “My pharaoh, I’m sorry, I just hadn’t gotten a chance to clean up, I won’t be long, I swear.” Her eyes were downcast, she couldn’t even look at him knowing the pharaoh had just recently been having his way with Shelyn. A guilty conscience inside as she knew how she shamefully reacted to that.

“No, it’s quite alright. Shelyn hasn’t sent you to your room yet and by all accounts you are hers now. In any case, Aoi has stopped by, would you mind brewing up three cups of green tea and bringing them out?” He said, his brow raising as he couldn’t help but wonder why the girl was practically shaking and her voice was so frail.

“Yes, no of course, I’ll get right on it.” She said, hurrying to dry her hands. She wanted to fulfill her tasks as quickly as she could. Even if she served Shelyn she still wanted to serve the pharaoh, after all… it deeply pained her to think that she must have done something in the past that was unpleasing to Calion. After all, why would he stop calling upon her to come to his bedroom? Not to mention it still saddened her that she had fallen in love with him, even if she knew she was nothing but a whore for the pharaoh and he would never have true feelings for her… it was still something nice she could fantasize about during the time, but now she had practically nothing.

With that Calion left to go rejoin Aoi and Shelyn.
Aoi sighed. "You should be dressing as a lady these days." He was disappointed. Patting the seat beside him.
Shelyn hesitated. But soon walked over and sat beside Aoi. Not sure what she had done to displease him already. "Did. ...I do something wrong?"
Aoi pulled a small rectangle from his sleeve opening it to reveal a pallet of colors. "A birthday gift for you. You can’t continue this childish look. Next time I see you I expect you be presentable. Calion can’t be the only one of you two who looks presentable." Referring to the makeup Calion wore around his eyes and so on.
