Feeling utterly tense in the moment alone with hr pharaoh. She wanted to please him anyway he asked. But she didn't wish to hurt Shelyn by doing anything either.

Calion grabbed the girl's wrist and pulled her forward into his lap. Just holding her there. Letting her warm his lap as he sipped his wine. "In that case, you can sit here until I finish this glass of wine. After that you are free you retire until your new master wakes and is in need of you."

Amarie felt her heart scream once she was seated firmly in his lap. Her cheeks burning as she held the bottle in her own lap and nodded to his demand. "Y..yes my pharaoh."

The two sat there for nearly an hour before Calion finally freed the young woman from his grasp. Standing he walked away to leave her alone to her thoughts and feelings and any other chore she might have for the night before she retired. Soon vanishing into the dark of the bedroom.

Amarie was at a loss for words after that silent hour. The man she loved hadn't said a single thing to her. His hands hadn't strayed to touch or grope or rub against her flesh. How she was disappointed and turned on. Finding herself exhaling that heavy breath as a hand travelled across her breast. Feeling the hardness of her nipples before she began putting away the wine and collecting the dishes. Bringing them to the small kitchen withing this space. She washed them first and put everything away. Then took herself to the bedroom. Expecting to see Shelyn. However, she wasn't even surprised to find that Shelyn wasn't there. Stripping down she bravely crawled into the empty bed. "just one night. No one has to know." She thought as she soon drifted off to sleep.

Just as sure as the sun set, that magnificent messenger bird fell and lowered to its mark. Just outside the ranks. Hidden away in the rolling sands, a tent was situated. This bird landed just outside the opening. Cawing loudly to catch the attention at whatever rested inside. A low growl hummed as sand brushed out the opening as if it were being blown out from within. A large body moved from inside. Stepping outside. Hidden within a thick cloak to protect it from the cool night air. It picked up the bird. Its fingers nipped as ir took the rolled paper from the holster on the bird's leg before lifting it high for it to take off before vanishing back withing the sand covered tent.

It seemed the next days went quickly for everyone. Until the day of the party arrived. That afternoon the palace was buzzing with the guests. Nobles from all over the country had arrived with their sons and daughters. This was all for Jin. Calion upon his throne this day, much like he was for any party that he held. Only this time, the lovely Shelyn was kept at his side upon a bed of fine pillows. Calion was sure to keep her close this time.

Shelyn was more worried about the odd stares most of the servants and nobles were giving her. No other woman sat near. Though her eyes would be watching everyone and everything. She didn't think tonight she would be able to avoid Mirien like the night before. "Calion? Are you sure I can not be out there? I really do not mind playing with the musicians again." She offered. Feeling more awkward to just be sitting here like a queen.

Aoi was lounging beside Shelyn. "Relax. They stare because you have the pharaoh's favor. They are merely jealous of you." He told her. His fingers taking a few strands of her hair and twisting them. "just look at yourself my dear. Your gown that shows off that body, and jewelry handpicked by the pharaoh. They simply envy you. Enjoy it. Smile." He urged her.

Tonight Shelyn was just as dressed up as the princes and pharaoh. Her dress matched the deep blue skirt Calion wore. Her makeup done to accent the natural beauty and add color. Her hair done up in braids and twists, tangled with jewelry. Most of her skin exposed. Her hip down to the golden anklets she wore upon bare feet. The ring upon her finger, and necklace and bracelet in place.
