Shelyn sighed.
Jin awed at the item. And without even thinking took her hand and placed it on her. "Its wonderful isn’t it? Brother always finds the most lovely for gifts. Does it mean you’ll be staying?"
"Jin do not pressure her. Its rude. Tell me has Helm returned home yet?"
Shelyn shook her head. And talked with Yun for a moment.
After dinner she wondered off with Jin. Finding steps near the room of the pharaoh. Of course walls still fairly open. The two sat and she instructed him on how to play. Of course Jin failed. Loudly at that.
And yet even Shelyn was giggling. And patient. She was so soft in the way she spoke to the young boy. "Like this. You have to be gentle. Like the water. Come on try again." She encouraged. Despite 10 years on him she was very motherly to him. Pushing back her long hair as she listened. Her left hand, pointer extended swayed. She hummed. Trying to keep beat for him.
Calm. And seemed to draw in little birds to listen when she hummed
The servant girl returned to Calion to inform him that she had delivered the gift and letter. It’s not as if Calion really expected her to come and thank him, after all this was meant to be his apology of sorts and she didn’t really owe him anything. Nevertheless, after enjoying a quiet dinner on his own while chatting with the three females within his throne room he couldn’t help but hear the sounds of a pretty stringed instrument… being poorly played. This left the pharaoh chuckling softly to himself as he assumed it was Jin and Shelyn nearby going over their first sessions together.
He knew he could step out to check, but instead he let 45minutes pass by not wanting to prove a distraction for his younger brother whom he was over protective of as if he were his own son. After all with Calion being near thirty and his parents passing away shortly after the birth of Jin, Calion did on some level consider Jin as a son. The prince rose, it was a hot and humid night and aside from a long robe wrapped around his waist he only wore a sheer cardigan of very light and see-thru fabric. His torso was mostly revealed as well as the defined muscular structure of his lean body as the robe hung low on his hips. His dark long hair was perfectly in place as usual as the Pharaoh walked his way towards the door and opened it, sitting down beside Jin and placing his hand upon the boy’s head, ruffling his hair gently as he chuckled softly. “Keep playing like that Jin and dear Shelyn will be here for years~” It was just a little joke. “Of course that probably wouldn’t bother you, huh?” He said, shifting his eyes upon the girl and looking down to her wrist as she wore the little gift he’d given her.
“Thank you, for deciding to teach him within these walls. I know it’s not your preference, but it’s for his own safety. Mirien and her own servants are off on the far side of the palace, she won’t be around when you are in the palace.” He informed her. The Palace was quite grand. The front of which was for the Pharaoh himself. The left wing was for Mirien and all her servants (His harem, where only tongue less and ball-less guards were permitted if male), the right wing had Yun’s own servants and personal advisors. Jin, being young as he was, was open to roam between the right wing and the front of the palace as he desired. “Will you be returning to your family’s land after Jin is finished would? I would have liked to give you a more proper tour of the palace, considering you only unfortunately had seen a small portion and not a good one at that.” Calion said in a soft voice, trying to appear nonthreatening and trying to bury the hatchet between the two of them.
