Izumi stood in the center of the circle for the ball throw. While her eyes were facing the ball in her hand, they weren't focused on it. Her face had put on an awkward smile. She was shaking so violently that some of the people watching her were worried she would fall over.

Katsuki stood in the main group of students and watched as Izumi started muttering to herself. "Tch, damn nerd's gonna get expelled."

One of the students near him replied to his comment. "Yeah, Midoriya isn't doing very well..."

Katsui immediately turned to look at Ochako and gleefully responded. "Well DUH. She's a quirkless runt!"

Katsuo silently slid in close to Katsuki and listened intently. 'Can't wait for him to freak out... Just thinking of it might make me laugh!'

Tenya Iida, who stood between the two students talking with one another spoke up after hearing what Katsuki said. "Quirkless?! So you haven't heard about her feats during the entrance exam?!"

"Huh?"

Just then, Izumi started to get ready to throw the ball. 'Mom...! All Might...! Katsuo...! I'm not going to get expelled! Or have my legs broken...!'

'...I hope...'

Izumi threw the ball, using her quirk at the best moment in just her finger to propel it further. When she did so the ball went flying incredibly far. The moment her arm stopped moving she felt a dull ache spread though her now broken finger. The ache quickly got stronger, but she didn't let any tears fall.

Eraserhead released a breath he didn't know he was holding. He looked down at the device in his hand when it beeped and smiled into his capture gear. 'Looks like she somehow got a nice self-destruction strength quirk. Knowing her she'll probably soon find a way to use it that isn't as self-destructive. Good thing I didn't use my quirk and put some hope in her.'

When Eraserhead showed the class the results to the class they started making comments about Izumi.

"Woo! Now that's a hero-like record if I ever saw one."

"Her finger appears to be swollen. Thinking back to the entrance exam... what a strange quirk..."

"Stylishly done."

Katsuo looked as Katsuki froze in place. When Katsuo spun around in front of Katsuki to look at his face, he fell over laughing.

Katsuki's face was frozen in a look of pure shock.

'What the...! Quirks barely ever manifest past age four! It's impossible... But it really happened! She got a quirk and...' Katsuki looked at Katsuo who was literally rolling on the floor laughing. 'The bastard already knew?! That means... That means....'

Katsuki's face morphed from shock into unadulterated rage. "Katsuo!!"

Katsuo reacted by abruptly stopping his laughing fit and twisting his body around so that he was in a handstand with his head also on the ground. When Katsuki reached down for Katsuo he launched himself into the air with his arms and twisted his body around mid-air so he was right side up.

He reached his hand into his pocket and pulled it out, a small trail of a powder-like material leaking out of his hand. He threw the handful at Katsuki and yelled "POCKET SAND!!"

Katsuki had just looked up at Katsuo in the air when a handful of sand hit him directly in the eyes. He fell over backwards and started getting the sand out of his eyes. Streaming curses at Katsuo the entire time.

Katsuo landed on his feet and looked around. Most of the students were looking at him in surprise. He returned the look and said "What? Do I have something in my teeth?"

Tenya ran up to him and started waving his hands around in a very robotic manner. "Why did you throw sand into his eyes?!"

"Oooh, you guys are surprised about the sand? Well, if you like I can tell you where I got it from. There's this place cal-"

Tenya started waving his arms around even more. "I'm not asking you where you got it from! I'm asking why you threw it into his eyes?!"

"Mhm... Why do I throw sand into Katsuki's eye's..." Katsuo acted like he was thinking seriously, then thought of the answer. "Oh! So, you know how when a dog misbehaves and you punish it! That's why!"

Katsuki, who had now de-sanded his eyes stood up and yelled at Katsuo. "I'm not a freaking dog you bastard!"

Katsuo turned to Katsuki and responded in a deadpan tone "You're a Pomeranian. Of course you are."

"I'm NOT a Pomeranian!"

"Yes, you are."

"NO, I'm not!"

"You are, you even bark."

"I do NOT bark!"

"Bark bark."

"THIS ISN'T BARKING!!"

"Oh, then is it like this? Arf, arf."

"I AM NOT A DOG!"

"Am too."

"ARE YOU A SMALL CHILD?!"

"I will always be, in my heart."

"THAT'S STUPID!!"

"Oh, now you're a Tsundere Pomeranian."

"HOW AM I A TSUNDERE YOU DUMBASS?!"

"Tsundere checklist: Calling people stupid, check."

As the two students continued bickering, the rest of the class watched in a silent amazement. They had never seen people actually bicker like this before. They were watching them bicker so intently that they didn't even notice as a third party entered until they spoke up.

"U-um... could y-you tw-two please, please s-s-sto-stop that?"

Both of the boys turned to Izumi and sighed in tandem with each other.

"Tch, fine."

"Tsu- no wait, I'm supposed to be stopping, nevermind! I won't check that off the list!" Katsuo watched as Katsuki walked away then silently spoke under his breath. "Yet."

Izumi turned to look at Katsuo and asked him "Why did you throw sand into Kaccahn's eyes?"

"We both know how he acts in these situations, plus I only threw half as much as I normally do."

"Stil, you can't just throw it in his eyes all the time."

"Fine, I won't do it as much anymore."

"Well... that's a start at least."

Katsuo remembered what he had said to Izumi before her turn for the ball throw and looked at her. "So, Izumi... Is your arm broken?"

"W-weren't you watching?"

"Yes."

"Then why don't you know?"

"Because I was watching Katsuki for his reactions."

"That's not what I..." Izumi then heaved a heavy sigh, remembering the countless times she'd fought this same battle and lost. "Nevermind. No, I didn't break my arms, see?" She then moved both her arms around to show that they weren't broken.

"Oh, good! Then I don't have to break your legs... Right?"

"W-why are you asking me?!"

"I dunno."

"Then... don't... ask me..."

"Why not?"

Izumi seemed to lose all of her energy as she sighed. 'Why does he do this type of stuff?'

"Well, Izumi, let's move on to the next challenge! Also, next time we do this, don't break your finger." Katsuo then briskly started walking away.

'Next time he won't even let me... Huh?! How does he know... Wait...'

Katsuo soon enjoyed the benefit of having a head start as he was chased down.
