Inquisitor

- Chapter: 23 -

Bakugou was waiting at the front gate at U.A. High for two people to show up, he had been waiting for about half an hour and was starting to get mad. He knew they couldn't have left first as he had ran over to the gates as fast as he could, so that meant that they were still on the school grounds somewhere. 'Well, that bastard's dad does work here, maybe they're having a conversation or something.'

That was when he saw the two of them walking down a path heading to the gate. When they saw Bakugou standing there Katsuo spoke up. "Hey, Pomeranian! Looks like I was right and you were waiting for us. Honestly, just like a dog, waiting for its owner to show up." Katsuo then started laughing, pissing Bakugou off.

"H-Hey, Katsuo you sh-shouldn't make fun of him like that." Izumi spoke to Katsuo, "He's sensitive about th-that." Izumi continued to tell Katsuo off, accidentally insulting Bakugou's pride.

Bakugou yelled at them in response to their comments "SHUT UP! I'M NOT A DOG AND I'M NOT SENSITIVE ABOUT BEING LOOKED AT AS ONE!!"

Katsuo covered his mouth as he laughed even harder. He then pointed a bandaged hand at Bakugou and said "Look, now the Pomeranian is Barking" and promptly doubled over laughing.

Bakugou had tic marks forming around his face as it twisted in anger, along with his body. He leaned backwards so his face was pointing at the sky, his arms bent with his palms facing the same direction. Bakugou was speaking, repeating the same words over and over again. "..'m...ill...ou"

Katsuo leaned in with a hand cupped around his ear. "Huh? What are you saying? I can't understand you over all your anger."

Bakugou bent forward so that his face was straight at Katsuo and repeated himself one last time "I'M GONNA KILL YOU." and he jumped at Katsuo with his right arm readying an attack. However, before he hit Katsuo, sand hit him in the face.

Katsuo said "Pocket sand" and stepped to the side, Bakugou flying past him onto the ground. Katsuo sighed and looked at Bakugou rolling on the ground trying to get the sand out of his eyes. "Honestly Bakugou, if some sand stopped you I don't know how you could've passed that entrance exam, maybe you should try for the general course."

Bakugou got up and looked Katsuo in the eyes "I'll have you know that I destroyed that super giant robot myself!" Bakugou then crossed his arms and smiled, clearly gloating in his accomplishment.

Katsuo then replied "Wow, really? Me too!"

Bakugou looked at Katsuo with wide eyes. "The zero-pointer?"

"Yep"

"That was taller than buildings?"

"Yep"

"Only one in each area?"

"Yep"

"By yourself?"

"Of course."

"DAMN IT!" Bakugou pointed a finger at Katsuo, "Hey, Bastard, explain why it is that you always get to look cool around me!"

Katsuo held up one of his hands as he replied, "Oh, no. Your much cooler, after all I almost burned my fingers off when I destroyed it, and you seem fine."

Bakugou and Izumi both yelled "WHAT!" after hearing what Katsuo said. Who reacted from them yelling by putting both hands in front of him to protect himself from them.

"W-what? It's fine right? I'm not dead or anything! Plus my finger's will be fine! Just give me a day or two!" Katsuo was frantically waving his hands around.

Izumi pointed at him and yelled "You expect us to think a day or two all you need to heal?!"

Bakugou joined in, adding "Yeah! My granny broke her hip once and that took like, two weeks to heal!"

"No, seriously, I'm fine look I can even move my fingers!" Katsuo held up his hand and started wiggling his fingers around inside the bandages. After a few times they started making crunching sounds.

"They're crunching now! Stop!"

"That happened with my granny too!"

Katsuo smiled at the two of them as he moved his fingers around. "See? All they do is make weird crunching noises! A few days and I'll be just fi-" Kasuo was cut off my a loud cracking noise that came from his fingers. His smile grew thin and his eyes grew wide.

"K-Katsuo? A-Are y-y-you okay?"

Bakugou put a hand on his chin and started nodding "Yep the exact same as granny. After the crack that happened."

Izumi turned to Bakugou "What happened?"

As if to answer her question, Katsuo's hand started shooting blood from the bandages.

Three yells were heard from U.A. that day, one of pain, one of fear, and the third was someone yelling Granny.

- U.A. Entrance Exam Viewing Room -

All of the staff from U.A. were sitting around a room watching video footage of the entrance exam.

A white creature that wore a suit started speaking "It appears that we had three students destroy a Zero-Pointer this year. Compared to other years where maybe one is destroyed that's rather amazing."

A man who looked almost like a concrete block reponeded, "Yes, but one of them is still rather impressive. He scored over 90 villain points and then, when the other contestants were running away, he yelled out at them and then destroyed the Zero-Pointer in one hit."

Someone who had tubes sticking out of his arm spoke next, "The other two interest me just as much as the other one does. I mean, you all had to have noticed it right? They both were using capture bands that are unique to a certain underground hero we all know. Isn't that right Eraserhead?"

Eraserhead looked at the person that called him out and responded, "Yeah, those are the same as my capture bands. What about it?"

The white creature answered "Aizawa, while I did know that your son would be joining us this year, I didn't know that you had another apprentice in the making. I believe that's what Vlad King was getting at."

Eraserhead looked at the white creature and spoke "Principal Nezu, I don't have two apprentices, that girl was trained by my son and another pro hero who is a bit more... open, about operating than I am."

Nezu blinked and tilted his head to the side "Oh? Who is this pro hero then?"

Eraserhead sighed and looked at All Might's emaciated form. " Nezu, you already know who that hero is, so please don't try to act like you don't it's tedious and illogical."

"Mhm, fine then, I hope you don't have any objections to my next suggestion." as Nezu spoke an evil glint sparkled in his eyes.
