- Chapter: 33 -

Katsuki and Iida walked into the building. They had five minutes to prepare for the heroes' entrance.

"Hey, four-eyes!"

"That is not my name!"

"Shaddup! Listen to me! We're up against Deku and Round Face, right?"

"Yes, that is correct."

"Then... let's try out my plan..."

Izumi stood outside with Uraraka, waiting for the exercise to begin.

Izumi looked at a piece of paper in her hands, trying to memorize it.

Uraraka spoke up, "There's no punishment for failure like with Aizawa Sensei, so I'm not too worried." She looked at Izumi, shaking where she stood while memorizing the blueprints. "But you look really worried!!"

"Well... I mean... we're up against Kacchan... Iida too... We'd just.... Better be on guard..."

"Bakugou... he's the one who bullies you right?"

"K-Kinda..."

"Kinda?"

"I... don't think he does it to belittle me... I think he was... trying to keep me safe."

"What do you mean?"

"All he ever really did was discourage me from being a hero."

"That still sounds mean though...?"

"Well, he may be a jerk, but he's amazing... His goals... his confidence... his strength... his quirk. He's stronger than me in every way.

"But... That's why... I don't wanna... lose to him."

"So, you're like his fated rival or whatever...?!"

"Huh? Oh, no. His fated rival would be..."

Indoor Antipersonnel battle training.

Start.

Izumi and Uraraka snuck into the building through a window.

When Uraraka got through the window she whispered, "Successful Infiltration!"

Izumi responded with a warning, "Lots of blind corners, so watch out.."

Izumi and Uraraka started sweeping the building, taking care to not blindly turn around any corners. That's when Katsuki appeared in front of them.

An explosion rocketed from his hand when he saw them. Creating smoke all around him and obscuring him from view. Izumi jumped and got Uraraka out of the blast's path.

"He grazed me...! You okay, Uraraka?!"

"Yeah! Thanks. He came outta nowhere."

The smoke cleared when Katsuki jumped out at them yelling, "Nice dodging, Deku." and threw another blast at them. This time, it was a smaller attack.

Izumi rolled to the side to get out of the way, Uraraka doing the same.

"Another dodge? Did Katsuo never teach you how to attack?" Katsuki reeled back his right arm.

When he thrust it forward, Izumi caught his arm. She twisted her body around and threw Katsuki over her shoulder onto his back.

The moment Katsuki's back hit the ground he let off two more explosions from both of his hands. The force of the blasts made him slide on the ground away from Izumi. As he slid on his back he leaned to the left then threw his body right and got himself on his feet.
