Izumi and Iida walked onto the field, their eyes locked on one another's. They respected each other and knew that either one may win the match. Iida could tell that she wouldn't attack him with blasts of air from the minor tremble he saw in her arm. Izumi could tell that Iida had an ace up his sleeve that he would use to his advantage.

"START!"

---

The fight was close.

At first, Iida had the advantage. He was able to quickly attack Izumi then withdraw before she could strike back. But, she soon figured out his timing and they began to exchange blows. Iida would run and throw a kick, Izumi would try to block and perform a counter strike.

After a minute of this, the fight's pace changed. Izumi was moving after Iida, not using speed to reach him, but instead by entering his path and throwing him off balance. Iida was fast, but that speed came with some disadvantages. Mainly, it was hard to turn quickly. Thus, he needed adequate space to maneuver around the battlefield.

Izumi was moving into the area he needed to turn around and preparing to throw a punch, trying to have him run himself right off the field.

Iida stopped her from continuing this by landing a solid blow on one of Izumi's legs, preventing her from entering his pathways anymore.

Izumi stumbled backwards from the blow, catching her balance at the edge of the field. Iida saw this, and took his chance. The fumes coming out of his exhaust pipes first expanded causing fire to become visible from them. Then it compressed down and changed from a low red into a vibrant blue.

He burst forward faster than a person could blink, and in an instant was where Izumi was.

Keyword, was.

Izumi knew that Iida most likely had a secret ability that let him move even faster for a temporary time. She also knew he would be looking for an opportunity to use it and end the match.

So, she pretended to be off balance and focused her quirk's energy into her legs. She released the energy and flew into the sky not a moment too soon, as Iida harmlessly flew past her...

Straight out of bounds.

Midnight raised her whip and declared Izumi the winner.

Katsuo stood in a bathroom, washing his hands.

He scraped at them.

Tore at them.

He scrubbed them to the point that he began removing skin.

He kept on washing his hands.

The sink beneath had been stained red when he started, but the running water had long since cleaned away the stain.

Katsuo washed his hands, he wouldn't stop washing them until he felt they were clean.

When that was, he didn't know.

---

Katsuki sat in his waiting room with his legs up on the table in front of him, passing the time on his phone until his match against Katsuo began.

'Tch. Damn jerk. How he managed to get that nerd to learn all that in two weeks I'll never know. But, it won't matter. Hell, he probably focused on training her so much that he forgot to train himself... '

Katsuki's face turned into a grimace.

'Who am I kidding? He's probably figured out over a hundred ways to beat me without even moving from where he starts.'

Katsuki took his legs off the table and set his phone down. He held up one of his hands and looked at it as small sparks went off.

'Ever since that day I've trained non-stop to try and create that same huge blast he did back then. I can fire off my quirk for almost fifteen seconds continuously, I can create explosions the size of houses, and yet, I can't fire off that massive beam like he did back then. Best I can do is fire off small blasts that are closer to fireworks than that... beam he fired.'

Katsuki looked at his phone, it's background was a picture of him and his two closest friends. Despite the fact he knew he was going to soon be humiliated, he felt himself smile at the image of the two of them holding him down for the picture.

Three hours later, after the Sports Festival ended

Kamui woods, along with Mt. Lady and Death Arms, walked along the halls of the U.A. First Year Stadium. Their patrol route temporarily went inside the building for a small stretch of the area that was apparently hard to fit into the other hero's sweeping patterns. While the sports festival had been over for a while, they still had to finish this last patrol before they could go home.

"I can't believe he gave you those Takoyaki... or that you ate all of them." Kamui said, attempting to reprimand Mt. Lady for using her... assets to get free food from a vendor.

"Please, it's fine. Did you see his face? He was totally pleased with the transaction." She responded.

"Really? You're going to say it's fine since he's a weirdo too?"

Mt. Lady looked at Kamui. "Of course. It was his decision to let me have them for free. All I did was tell him I didn't have any mon... WAIT "TOO"?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!"

"Obviously I mean tha-"

"Hey! Get over here now!"

Death Arms cut into their argument. He had gotten tired of them fighting and had walked forward to stay away from them.

Because of that, he was the first one to see the scene.

The two Heroes shut up and ran forward, around the slight curve ahead of them. Mt. Lady made a small gasp as Kamui was left speechless.

Three men had been attacked.
