The students of class 1-A opened the door to their class to leave for the day, and saw a horde of people standing around it.

"What's going on?!" Uraraka called out in surprise when she saw all the people.

"No way out! What're they here for?" Mineta asked.

Katsuki walked past Mineta and gave both him, and the crowd an answer. "Scoping out the competition, duh, Small Fry. Cuz we're the kids who survived a villain attack. Makes sense they'd want a look before the sports festival."

Katsuki smirked at the crowd and said "No point though. Move aside, Cannon Fodder."

Katsuo's head popped up behind him, in a way that reminded the crowd of whack-a-mole. A loud thunk was heard as Katsuo smacked Katsuki in the head with a ping-pong racket.

Katsuki turned around to Katsuo, his face twisted in rage. "The hell was that for?!!"

"Calling them extras."

"THAT'S NOT A REASON!!"

"Oh, I can't throw my sand accurately enough right now, so I'm using this." Katsuo held up the racket.

"THAT'S STILL NOT A REASON!!"

Katsuo tilted his head in confusion.

Katsuki took a deep breath and asked, "The hell did it come from?!"

"From my cast's pocket! It's a pocket paddle!!"

"Your cast has a pocket?"

"Yeah!! Look!! Katsuo raised his shirt to reveal a full-body cast wrapped around his chest. "There's some extra space where my stomach is, and if I shimmy this in right..." He started shoving the paddle into the cast, "It fits just right to be pulled out!!" The handle on the paddle stook out enough for someone to pull it back out. "The only downside is it's kinda hard to breathe like this..."

"THAT SPACE IS THERE FOR THAT REASON!!"

"Which one? Pocket or breathing?"

"OBVIOUSLY BREATHING!!!"

"So that's why it's harder to breathe!!"

A new voice cut into the conversation. "Is this... how the hero course acts?"

Katsuo and Katsuki turned their heads to look at the new person. The boy had purple hair and seemed slightly sleep deprived. Katsuki didn't care about the extra, or he wasn't. He took an interest when he saw that Katsuo seemed to recognize him.

"Gotta say. I'm a little disillusioned if this is what you're offering." The boy with purple hair said.

Katsuo turned fully to him. "Hey! You're that guy from the practical exam! How've you been?"

The boy looked at him for a second before realization flashed through his eyes. "You're... the kid who took down that zero pointer, right?"

"Yeah! The guy I took the quirk from is also in this class! Where'd you end up?"

"In general studies."

"Really? That makes no sense!!"

"I didn't get any robots though..."

"Yeah, but rescue points exist! You should have gotten quite a few from helping with people evacuate, right?"

"Apparently it wasn't enough."

"That suuucks!! Well, here's to hoping you get in through the Sports Festival!"

"Actu-"

The purple haired kid was cut off by another student yelling through the crowd. "HEY! I'm from class 1-B next door!! Heard you guys fought some villains. Wanted to find out more, but... All I'm seeing is some carefree dude covered in bandages!! You better not ma-"

"THIS IS GREAT!!" Katsuo had a huge smile on his face, and seemed extremely excited, but... Everyone around him felt like an evil plan had just been formed.

"You there!! Purple haired kid!! And you! 1-B kid!! I have an offer for you two!!"

Both of them seemed surprised by what Katsuo said, they were about to turn him down, but...

Katsuo was already running off, laughing his head off. "Follow me!! I'll explain when we're alone!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Katsuki watched as both of the students walked after Katsuo. Their curiosity obviously getting the better of them. Katsuki wondered what Katsuo's plan was. 'Probably something stupid, knowing him.'

During the next two weeks before the sports festival, the students all trained. During that time, Izumi figured out that when she was running to save Katsuo, she had unconsciously used, and held back, One For All. Katsuo had her focus on being able to use the power without damaging herself.

The two weeks of training flew by, and before the students realized it, the sports festival was about to begin.

Katsuo hadn't stopped smiling all day.

(A/N): So, I'm planning on making the next chapter super long, and that's going to take a while to write. That means that the next chapter will most likely come out over the weekend. Just wanted to let you know why I won't update the next few days.
