Katsuo stood waiting for his classmates to come out. Noting aspects of their costumes that would be beneficial and ways to improve them. As he was making a list of info about them he saw Katsuki walk out.

‘Let’s see what he has… gauntlets, they probably store his sweat for later use, grenades on his hips, and his gloves are used to help him stabilize his charged shots. I think that’s all.’

“Oi, Katsuo! I saw that!”

“Darn, if you’re catching me then I must be losing my edge…”

“Shut up bastard!”

Katsuo stood at attention and gave Katsuki a salute. “Sir, no sir!”

Izumi entered the changing room and began changing into her costume. During her time training with Katsuo he had repeatedly told her to make a design to submit. While she did find it… mildly annoying… that every chance he got he mentioned it, she was thankful for it as she had managed to make a design that wasn’t just an All Might rip-off.

Her costume used green as it’s base, with white highlights running through it. She wore black boots that had pads where her knees were. On her hands she wore white gloves, further up on her arms she had braces for her elbows. On her neck was her capture gear, the mask Katsuo had given her hidden underneath.

When she walked out of the changing room, she was greeted with the scene of an enraged Katsuki yelling at a Katsuo who was barely holding it together from laughing so hard his kidney exploded.

Izumi mentally whined, ‘Why are they always like this?’ and walked forward to break them up.

“Guys… we’re in the middle of class. Could you… not?”

Katsuo looked over at Izumi “Oh! Izumi, was your costume made how you wanted?”

When he turned to face her Izumi she saw how his costume fit his upper half and reddened. “Um, y-yeah. It has everything I asked for.”

Katsuki had a tick mark form on his head. “Katsuo! You bastard! Just gonna ignore me!”

Katsuo quickly looked at Katsuki and replied, “Yes.” then looked back to Izumi. “That’s good! Mine came the way I asked as well.”

“O-oh, that’s good… I uh, talk to Uraraka!” Izumi ran over to Uraraka to escape from Katsuo. ‘Why is his costume like th-that!!!’

Katsuo watched as Izumi ran away. “Huh, that was weird. Hey Katsuki, you know what happened?”

“Yeah, but I’m not telling you anything. Just use your weird mind reading ability.”

“I can’t read minds.”

“Might as well be able to.”

“I can’t tell what everyone thinks.”

“Okay, then give me an example.”

“Sure, the dual-colored kid.”

“Maybe he’s a robot and doesn’t have a mind for you to read.”

“I just read people’s body language, not their minds. But…”

“But what?”

“I can’t even read that guy at all. He has nothing for me to go off except for obvious physical traits. For instance, I can only get his quirk and a rough idea of his family situation from his head. But, everything else is just blank.”

“Dude, the fact you think that’s nothing is weird.”

“Is it?”

“Yeah, most people can’t tell quirks from a glance.”

“True. But still, I can normally tell everything about a person down to the way they act in different situations from watching them for a few minutes. But with him I just-”

“Keep drawing a blank. I know you’ve said it already.”

“Oh, All Might’s ready.”

“Shall we begin, my wards?! It’s time for battle training!!”

Iida stepped forward and raised his hand. “Sensei! This appears to be the same field used in the entrance exam. Will we once again be performing cityscape maneuvers?!”

“Nope! You’ll be moving on to step two! Indoor anti-personnel battle training!! Villain battles are mostly seen outdoors but… statistically the most heinous villains.. are more likely to appear indoors. Between confinement, house arrest, and black market deals… in this hero filled society of ours… the cleverest villains out there lurk indoors!! You’ll now be split into villain and hero teams… and face off in two-on-two indoor battles!!”

A girl with a frog quirk tilted her head to the side and asked “So no basic training?”

All Might responded with a clenched fist, “Practical experience teaches you the basics! The distinction here is that you won’t be fighting disposable robots.”

After answering the frog girl the other students bombarded All Might with questions.

“What determines victory?”

“Can I just blast everyone away?”

“Are you threatening expulsion like Aizawa Sensei did…?”

“How do we proceed to divide ourselves into teams?”

“How fabulous is my cape?”

All Might stood with a shaky frame as he spoke up to stop them. “One at a time! My quirk isn’t super hearing!!” He then reached in a pocket and pulled out a slip of paper and started reading off of it.

“Listen up!! Here’s the deal. The villains will be hiding a nuclear weapon in the hideout. And the heroes have to go in and take care of it! The heroes have a limited amount of time to either capture the villains or secure the weapon. The villains must either capture the heroes or protect the bomb until the time is up.”

All Might turned around and grabbed something. “Your battle partners will be decided by…” He turned around to reveal he was holding a box. “Drawing lots!”

Iida then remarked, “Is that really the best way?!”

Izumi spoke up when she heard Iida, “Makes sense. Because pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot during emergencies…”

“I see…! I apologize for getting ahead of myself… My mistake!”

All Might responded as he started drawing lots. “It’s fine! Let’s just get to it!” Then he started drawing lots to see the teams.

Team A: Izumi Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka

Team B: Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shoji

Team C: Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyoka Jirou

Team D: Tenya Iida and Katsuki Bakugou

Team E: Katsuo Aizawa and Mina Ashido

Team F: Yuga Aoyama and Koji Koda

Team G: Denki Kaminari and Minoru Mineta

Team H: Tsuyu Asui and Fumikage Tokoyami

Team I: Tooru Hagakure and Mashirao Ojiro

Team J: Hanta Sero and Ejiro Kirishima

All Might then reached into two boxes one labeled ‘Hero’ and the other ‘Villain’. Moving on, first up are these teams! On the hero side, Team A!! And on the villais side, Team D!”

“Get into positions and then we’ll begin!!”
