Inquisitor

- Chapter: 31 -

Izumi, Katsuo, and Katsuki were walking to their train station when a hand landed on Izumi's shoulder.

"How's your finger?"

Izumi jumped when the hand landed on her shoulder, but calmed down when she saw it was Iida. "Gah! Iida..! Oh, my finger is fine. Recovery Girl healed it for me."

"But Aizawa Sensei sure fooled us. Even going as far to use his son to help in the trickery! He made me think "This is how it is at the top!" But... Our own teacher and a new classmate deceived us like that..."

Katsuo looked at Iida, "We had to get the class to focus on the test. If we hadn't done that then it would've taken, by my guess at least, an extra hour to get through the physical. That's enough time to spend on something else more important. If you want to succeed in my father's class-" Katsuo stopped talking as another new voice called out.

"Hey!!"

When they heard the voice the group turned around to look at Uraraka running towards them. "You four! Headed to the station? Wait up!"

When they saw her Katsuo and Katsuki both spoke at the same time. "Oh, it's-"

"-The floaty girl."

"-Round face."

Katsuo smacked Katsuki on the back of his head. "Don't call people stuff like that Katsuki. At least remember their names."

"How are you any better?!"

"I said so."

"That means nothing! You aren't a god or something!"

"What if I was?"

"You aren't!"

"But... what if I was?"

"I'm Ochako Uraraka! Uh, don't worry about not remembering my name!"

"Oh? You don't mind? Okay. Now Katsuki doesn't need to apologize for forgetting your name."

A tick mark appeared on Katsuki's head. "Tch. You'd have to apologize as well!

"Sure I would. Anyway Katsuki she was just nice to you, what do you say when people are nice to you?"

"Stop looking down on me you damn extra."

Katsuo smacked Katsuki on his head again. "No, you say "Thank You". Now, you try."

"Why do I need to thank her?"

"I said so."

"THAT ISN'T A REASON!"

"Well, I just said it was. So, therefore it is."

"HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE IN YOUR HEAD?!"

"I dunno. I just say it does, then it does?"

"THAT ISN"T EVE..." Katsuki took a deep breath and continued. "That isn't even an explanation."

"I know."

"YOU KNEW?!"

As they continued to bicker with one another, the other three people in the group decided to have their own conversation.

"So, as you already know, I'm Ochako Uraraka! Um, you're Tenya Iida and you're Izumi Midoriya! Right?"

Iida stepped forward with one leg and moved his arms in a way that he looked like a character from an old platformer when they jumped. He extended the arm facing the sky at Uraraka and responded. "Yes! That is my name! Nice to meet you Uraraka!"

"Nice to meet you to Iida!"

"Uh, nice to meet you... Uraraka."

"Nice to meet you too Midoriya!"

The entire way to the station was filled with chatter.

The next day normal classes began. In the morning the class had normal classes like English. During lunch they eat food made by the Cook Hero: Lunch Rush for dirt cheap. Then it was time for the afternoon class, basic hero training.

When Class 1-A was guessing on who the teacher would be, they heard a yell "I HAVE...!" The door flew open. When they looked at the door they saw All Might leaning through the door. "Come through the door like normal!"

The class started freaking out when they saw All Might. He walked to the front of the class and began rummaging around for something. While doing that, he spoke, "Hero basic training! The class that'll put you through all sorts of special training to mold you into heroes!! No time to dally! Today's activity is this!" Having found what he was rummaging around for, All Might held up a card that read 'Battle'. "Battle Training!"

Katsuki seemed to sit up straighter in his seat.

"And for that... You'll need these!!" All Might pressed a button and twenty cases came out from the wall. All With different numbers on them. "In accordance with the "Quirk Registry" and the special request forms you filled out before being admitted..."

All Might didn't get to finish his sentence as the class yelled before you could speak.

"COSTUMES!!!!"

"After you change, come out in ranking order to Ground Beta!!"

With All Might's permission now given, the students ran forward to grab their costumes and started heading to the changing rooms.

That's what Izumi was doing as well, until Katsuo walked up to her.

"Izumi, you have turned in a form right?"

"Y-yeah. You kept on telling me to and all..."

"That's good. If they gave me what I asked for... then this battle training will be quite fun."

"Did you really ask for that? Wouldn't it be too hard to make?"

"Of course I asked for it Izumi! Imagine Katsuki's reaction when he sees what I can do with it!"

"That's why I was asking..."

"Hahaha, you worry about things too much Izumi!"

"You don't worry enough... Or at all for that matter."

"Agree to disagree?"

"Sure."

"Oh, we're already at the changing rooms? Well, see you on the other side Izumi!"

Katsuo walked into the room and opened his case. When he read the note inside detailing what was all in the case, a warped smile appeared across his face.

He shook his head to get rid of the smile and changed into his costume. First he put on the pants. They were baggy but not too much, just like the ones his father wears in his hero costume. Next he put on the boots. They had silver-metallic plates on the part that covers his foot, with another plate extending from the base of his shin to over his knee. Then came a skin tight black shirt, the sleeves going up to right past his elbows. He then grabbed the belt with several different pouches on it, plus highlights of color from the same silver-metallic material on his boots, and put it on. Next, he put on gauntlets that weren't really gauntlets. They only covered his forearms, leaving his hands open. They also had highlights from the same material as his boots and belt. He grabbed the mask, also made from the metal, from inside the case and put it on the belt.

All that was left inside the case was three sets of what appeared to be silver cloth. It matched the shade of silver going through the rest of his suit. Two of them seemed shorter, but thicker than the other one. Katsuo picked up and put on his new capture gear. The arm versions mostly covered up his gauntlets. Only the part near his elbow was still in view.

He walked out of the changing room and saw that he was the first to get changed.

"Hah, guess I'll wait for the rest of them."
