Class 1-A stood outside on one of U.A.'s many outdoor facilities. They all wore their gym clothes. Izumi was standing next to Katsuo, who was standing next to Bakugou, who was standing in the back of the class. Their homeroom teacher stood in front of them. With the other students responding to what he just said.

"A test... of our quirks?!"

"What about the entrance ceremony?! Or guidance sessions?!"

Eraserhead blankly responded "No time to waste of that stuff if you want to become heroes."

The class visibly reacted to what their teacher just said, he took that opportunity to continue explaining. Meanwhile two of the students in the back started talking.

"So... that homeless looking dude is your father?"

"Sadly, he is."

"So he's the one who taught you?"

"Sadly, he is."

"So, he's why you're like how you are then?"

"Sadly, he is."

"You sound like a damn broken record"

Izumi then spoke up "Sadly, he is."

"You too?!"

"Bakugou."

The three of them looked at the teacher after he called out to Bakugou.

"You got first in the entrance exam. How far could you throw in middle school?"

"Seventy-Two meters."

"Great. Now try it with your quirk. Do whatever you need to. Just don't leave the circle. Give it all you got." 'Let's see if you're as capable as Katsuo said you are'

Bakugou stood in the middle of the circle and started stretching. After a few seconds he readied himself. 'I'll add a boom to this pitch!'

He began to charge his quirk up, staying in a position to throw it. His palm started to glow slightly and the ball started to smoke in his hand from the heat. Right when some of the people present thought he was going to set the ball on fire, his arm rocketed forward. When his arm reached its highest point in the throw, he activated his quirk and screamed "DIE!" No one heard him.

A massive explosion rocketed from his hand. Surrounding him in a blast the size of a small house. A few of the students fell over when the shockwave hit them. A few yelled. The rest were stunned silent, except for one. One of them, smiled.

The ball flew through the air at an incredible speed. Leaving a trail behind it as it moved.

When the dust and smoke around him cleared, Bakugou casually walked out of the circle.

The class... was not casual.

"What was that?!"

"That's a quirk?!"

"He's so strong!"

"That's why he was first in the entrance exam."

"So... so manly!"

Katsuo looked around at his classmates surprised expressions, and used all his willpower to stop himself from laughing. When he turned to look at Izumi he saw her looking at the ground and muttering so fast that he couldn't even hear different sounds. When he looked at his father, he almost died from laughter.

His father was looking at the field where Bakugou had just thrown the ball. The ground around it was completely blacked. Some parts of it were even on fire. The device in his hands beeped and he looked down at it and coughed.

It read 1,584.4m.

'What in the world? Breaking a Kilometer as a first year is an accomplishment enough. But, this kid just broke the 1.5 Kilometer goal on his first try. He really is just as Katsuo said.'

Eraserhead looked at the students, completely in disarray, and sighed. He knew what would happen when he showed the result of the throw. He also knew that he would have to bring them back under control.

"It's important to know your limits. That's the first rational step to figuring out what kind of heroes you'll be." He then showed his new class the number and they all acted as he expected. They freaked out.

He was listening to them speak, waiting to see if they would die down naturally. When they didn't, he replied to someone yelling "Whoa, this looks fun!"

"Fun... you say?"

Izumi and Katsuo both looked at Eraserhead and saw him begin to radiate a dark aura. Izumi started shaking like crazy while Katsuo looked around at the students. When he saw the pink girl who had yelled about fun he ran over.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!" Katsuo screamed as he grabbed her by the shoulders and started shaking her around. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU JUST DID??!!"

"Eh? Wha? Wai-"

A dark voice spoke, shutting everyone up immediately. "You're hoping to become heroes after three years here... and you think it'll be all fun and games?! Right. The five with the lowest score across all eight events will be judged hopeless... and will be expelled."

"WHAAA?!"

"Your fates are in your own hands. Welcome, this is the hero course at U.A. High!"

The class looked at Eraserhead, eyes filled to the brim, with despair.

"No... way..."

"Five of us...?"

"But...."

"It's unfair!"

Eraserhead looked at the student who said it was unfair. The student yelped and stepped back when their eyes met. "Natural disasters... highway pileups... rampaging villains... Calamity is always right around the corner. I'd say Japan is full of unfair things. Heroes are the ones... who correct all that unfairness. If you were hoping to spend your evenings hanging out at MgRonalds... I'm sorry to tell you... for the next three years..."

Eraserhead turned his gaze to the entire class. A grin grew on his face, that, to the students, looked like a demon's. "U.A. will run you through the wringer."

"That's plus ultra. Use your strength to overcome it all. So bring it." With those words, eraserhead walked over the the 50-Meter dash course.

The students stood where they were, until a girl with her black hair up in a ponytail spoke up. Despite what the teacher had just said, she seemed to be calm. "I... don't think he's really going to expel anyone." When she spoke the class looked at her with confusion in their eyes. "This is the first day, he wouldn't want t-"

"You're wrong."

Everyone's eyes turned to a student who looked almost identical to the teacher. Except that he didn't look homeless.

"Shota Aizawa. Pro Hero: Eraserhead. He wasn't bluffing when he said he would expel the lowest five. Afterall, he once expelled an entire class."

"An... entire class?!"

"How do you know that?"

Katsuo looked at the person who asked the question. He looked fairly normal, minus his giant elbows. "Because..."

When he didn't respond immediately the class collectively tilted their heads.

"He's... my father."

...

"WHAAAAAT?!"
