(A/N): FINALLY!!! So I figured out how to write the chapter and as I was writing it I took a moment to look  at the word count and realized I had written over 4000 words... and the chapter still wasn't over. So, I decided to break the chapter into two chapters so I could at least upload something this time. I hope you enjoy the chapter!!

Present Mic's voice boomed across the stadium, his yell of "STAAARTT!!" having long past his previous in volume.

Izumi swerved her right leg forward, carrying the momentum through her torso and into her arm, mentally crying out "SMASH!" in her mind. The force of her punch caused the air to bend and shudder, instantly blasting forward to escape the pressure. At the apex of her punch, she curled her wrist downward for just a moment, and released her second air pressure attack with a flick of her fingers, pushing the air that had been rushing in to fill the momentary vacuum created from her punch forward in a literal second wind.

Katsuo slid his left leg forward, his hair beginning to rise as his eyes shone a crimson red. He felt all the hairs brushed up on his face from inside his mask. The quirks lingering in the DNA, begging him to pull them out and use them. He ignored their cries and pleas to be unleashed, focusing down on one of the hairs containing and felt the familiar rush of warm energy through his body as his quirk factor warped into the shape of another's. Holding onto the rush of power he pushed it out through his left side, and felt heat burst from him. A wave of flames shot out from his leg, traveling along the concrete ground. He swept his left arm next to, then across, his outstretched leg, letting another wave of pure-red fire streak forth.

The air, rushing forward from the raw power of Izumi's punch reached Katsuo's expanse of fire, causing the fire to go out and the air containing the force of the blast to be carried just a little higher from the heat. The second wave of wind met the second wave of fire, and rose similarly, although this time the fire wasn't extinguished but instead thrown backwards at Katsuo.

Izumi watched as Katsuo lurched downward using his wave of fire to block her view of him. She began charging up her other arm, in anticipation of when Katsuo would jump out to try and attack her.

Katsuo dashed towards the fire, the power he felt coursing through his body slowly turning vile as the originally warm sensation began turning cold. When his right foot hit the ground a moment before the fire would envelope him and no doubt cause extensive burns across his body - this wasn't the same fire he had used against Katsuki to knock him out, that was closer to hot air, this was true fire - he pushed the power out through his leg and into the fire, causing steam to rise up and continue to obscure him.

Izumi's head swiveled around, her eyes darting from one side of the sea of steam to the other, watching for any sign of where Katsuo was. Slowly taking steps back to distance herself from him further, she saw the steam bulge on the right side, and burst out as Katsuo came out using ice to propel himself forward. Swinging her body at him, she fully reeled back her still ready left arm and unleashed a blast of power straight at Katsuo.

Katsuo stopped his approach with the ice and waved his right arm as a wall of ice was quickly, and crudely, erected before him. The power coursing through him was now cold, colder than ice could, should, and would ever be, accompanied by a slightly dull splitting sensation coursing and rushing throughout his entire body. He lifted his left arm up, and unleashed a roaring blaze from his hand and forearm to send him flying to the side, avoiding the force that easily shattered the ice wall by a hair's width.

When his foot met with the ground he released the power and felt his quirk factor morph back into its original shape and the power he had been holding onto flow out of him and into the hair. Katsuo wasted no time and continued his previously halted dash towards Izumi.
