A brilliant light erupted from Katsuki's hands, blasting forward destroying the concrete as it traveled across the field and ruptured directly into Katsuo's guarded stance. Then, the beam was gone.

Katsuki stood in amazement as he looked at the dust and smoke lingering on the path of obliterated concrete. He looked down at his hands, smoke trailing off them, and asked himself out loud, "Did... I do it?" He looked up at the smoke cloud that formed where Katsuo had been. "Did I beat him?"

That's when he heard footsteps.

Katsuki looked up, and saw a silhouette of a person, glowing a faint reddish color on their arms, with a strange orange mass moving around on one of their shoulders, walking forward. He felt his eyes grow wide, and a chill go down his spine. The words that left his mouth were too quiet to be called a whisper.

"No..."

Katsuo walked out of the cloud, his skin a metallic gray color, with sharp, jagged lines running across his body.

"Way..."

The red glowing color was from his arms, he had used them to block the attack and absorb the heat. Thus, they were bright red. The orange mass waving around on his shoulder was from what remained of his shirt, slowly burning away into ashes like the rest of it already had.

Katsuki felt a shiver go up his spine again, a singular thought ran through his mind, 'He survived that attack... barely injured?!' accompanied by a rush of adrenaline. He felt his mouth twitch into a grin, filled with a child-like glee that did not at all match the malice that it was born from.

"Hey! How'd you use those quirks, you bastard?!"

Katsuo's metal skin smoothened out, the edges and points fading back into his body, along with the metal on all the non-glowing parts and the areas near them. He reached a red-hot hand up and pointed at his mask. "I have cartridges containing other student's hairs inside my mask. I used those to take their quirks." When he finished his sentence, ice came out from his right side to cool off the metal. After a few seconds of cooling it off, Katsuo returned both quirks and powered his off.

Katsuki watched as Katsuo cooled off and asked, "Then you have one for me, right?"

"Yes, however I took your container out. Otherwise the fight wouldn't have been enjoyable for either of us, or the people watching."

Katsuki felt himself start to chuckle. "So, you left it out to make the fight more fair?"

Katsuo nodded his head.

Katsuki's smile grew even wider. "That's the last time you'll make that mistake!!" He used his quirk and flew forward at Katsuo. He charged up his right hand, rearing it back as he rapidly advanced.

Katsuo, in turn, readied a lax position.

"DIEEE!!"

Katsuki swiped his hand at Katsuo, but nothing happened.

"Huh?"

Katsuki looked right in front of him where Katsuo was, hair raised and eyes glowing, and palm pointed at him.

Katsuo released a small explosion that knocked Katsuki back a bit. He hit the ground hard but got up quickly. "Bastard! Telling me you don't have my quirk then using it!"

"All I said was that I didn't have your cartridge, not that I didn't have access to it."

"Hah?! When the hell could you have gotten my... DNA..." Katsuki stopped talking when he realized when it had happened. Katsuo had scratched his leg. Katsuo had his skin under his nails. "Tch. Bastard."
