"Get back here!" Resonant yelled out as he chased Manic all over the place. Raven just sat watching from the roof with an annoyed look. Honestly, nothing was going anywhere. It was all pointless to try. Every time Manic and Confusious try to do anything the golden girls show up.
"Rez, please calm down. You know how Manic is. Chasing him about won't solve a thing." Polarity sighed as he glanced around. "Case and point... Where is Confusious?"
"Connie isn't here today!" Manic yelled as he picked up a car and smirked making Rez freeze on the spot. "He's a bit of a busy bee, but I thought I could hit up a bank and been back before he even knew I was gone!" Manic threw the car right at Rez who freaked and held his hand up sending it flying into the air out of reflex. "Now look what you did. I'm not helping you..." Manic giggled as he winked as started for the bank. "I have a bank to pop!"
"Hold it right there, Manic." Polarity held his hand out sending lightning crashing in front of the villain whose eyes flashed with a slight fear. "I'm afraid we cannot allow such behaviors."
"Yeah!" Angel yelled out as shifted awkwardly behind Polarity. He never really was one for fighting but don't ever count him out. Angel is quite the demon when he has to be. "That's not your money!"
"I'm sorry but... I got a bank to pop, bills to pay, a brother to piss off... can we hurry this along." Rez growled as he carefully let the car drop to the ground finally.
"Yeah, and I got shit too, you don't see me turning to villainy." Manic rolled his eyes as he summoned a mace and beamed.
"I was hoping I wouldn't have to fight... got somewhere I have to be you..."
"Manic hurry up and grab your money." The whole group went silent as a new voice joined in. Raven frowned as he popped up in front of everyone. He got tired of watching. If he didn't do something soon the fight would never end. He had hoped to get to the bank himself but... look where that got him. Of course, now that he was helping Manic break in and stuff, he was clearly not going to get to the bank any time soon. He didn't care. He was tired of the pathetic show. Raven stood there looking a bit too much like Manic himself, what his black and pastel seafoam green costume and mask. Raven hated masks but... He became what he saw. What he saw was this so... this is what he was.
"Raven..." Rez growled as he suddenly went after him. Let's just say the two don't have a very good standing. Rez was trying to stop Confusious and Manic from attacking this family but Raven had stepped in and stop Rez. That family must have been close to the hero because Rez still snaps over it.
Rez went to punch him making Raven side step as he rolled his eyes. He summoned a knife and smirked as Rez created a sword. The two went at it as Manic slowly inched his way into the bank. Polarity seemed to snap out of his surprise sending electricity at Raven who frowned as shifted form. Suddenly he looked like Polarity taking the electricity full force much to Rez's discomfort, who also ended up hit as Raven latched onto him. Rez screamed out as he fell to his knees.
"Shit... REZ!" Raven frowned as he stepped back holding his hands out and letting them crack with electricity. Polarity glared as he watched the carbon copy of himself. "You do know that won't hurt me?"
"No... but it will hurt him." Polarity's eyes went wide as Angel gripped his shirt tighter. Manic rushed out of the bank carrying a large bag and he froze up. "You good? You got what you needed?"
"Yeah... but what about you?" Raven smiled as he shook his head. "Are you sure I could..."
"I didn't come here to rob the place Manic. Now go home before these asshat's try to stop you." Polarity reached out only for lightened to crash in front of the two making him freeze up again. Rez groaned in pain as he looked up with this fire in his eyes.
"Raven, I swear to..." Rez cried in pain as he curled up into himself. Raven simply sighed as Manic disappeared from view, letting his hands drop the moment he knew Manic was safe. "Why?"
"He said he had bills." Raven shrugged as he shook his head and started to walk off.
"Excuse me, but you aren't..." Raven blinked teleporting out of sight making Polarity groan. "Fucking power stealer."
Raven crashed into his small apartment, whimpering as his body forced itself to shift back to normal. He cried as he collapsed onto his bed gripping his pillow tightly. This was pathetic. He knew that. His power wouldn't hurt him so much if he over use it but... That was just how he was. Once his body fully shifted he stood himself up and groaned as the room spun around him. He pushed himself up and over to his mirror frowning at the image it showed him. Pure white hair with Lavender tips... small frail and... pale as a ghost. At least that was what he saw when he looked in the mirror. He huffed blowing some hair out of his eyes to reveal his striking blue and he frowned even more.
"As soon as you can pick someone... better." He laughed to himself as he shook his head and walked back over to his bed. "Someone that isn't... Virgil Kaine. Got it?" He was talking to himself but at that moment he really didn't care. It wasn't like there was anyone else who would talk to him. Nobody knew he existed. "Got it."
Virgil sighed as he closed his eyes letting his tears drip onto the pillow. One of these days he's going to figure out who he is but for now... he'll just have to be content being someone else.
