"Do you have any forms that might help with locating people?" Virgil frowned as he shrugged.

"Probably but none that I've ever used. I mean I do have a Ghost but..." Roman nodded as he tuned into the sounds around him.

"I can find the girl easily through the screams..." Roman flinched covering his ears slightly as the screaming started up again. "Like now... but if anyone else is here if they don't make a sound I can't find them."

"I can take care of that. You just find the girl." Roman nodded again as Virgil shifted again instantly turning invisible leaving Roman alone with his already spinning head.

"Alright, Rez... Let's move." Roman took a deep breath as let his power surge around him. He latched onto the screaming ignoring how loud it got to him as he used it to form a mental image. His eyes shot open as he smiled. He wasted no time slowly but surely making his way through the hall deafening his steps as to not make a single sound. Meanwhile, Virgil watched him with a small smile, he had to admit it was nice not being hunted down by the hero for once. His eyes narrowed as he focused on his tasked and let the energy around him surge out. He could feel Rez's spirit like a vice around him and he groaned. Of course, the hero had a strong soul. Or well... A strong spirit and will. Technically those aren't things that are just got. They are strengthened through trauma and pain. Virgil frowned as he watched the hero disappear into a room quickly before he finally turned his attention away from the hero.

"Ok... now where is..." Virgil's eyes narrowed as he felt the dull thrum of several souls. Not many but still more than he'd prefer. One was clearly the victim but that left a total of 4 others beside Rez there. Virgil smirked as he fazed through the walls focusing on the locations of the souls and finding himself standing next to these two men who were guarding the stairs. Morons. Given the different types of powers people can have, it would make sense that guarding a single staircase is a rookie move. He let himself corporealize as he grinned and stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Howdy Boys." The men jumped spinning around only for Virgil to vanish and reappear directly beside the left one. "What are we doing?" Virgil went ghost against as the man next to him punched him, making his fist go right through him. Virgil grabbed his wrist using his energy to then through his soul, and those him, over the ledge and down the stairs, before corporealizing again. "Well, shit. I didn't realize it would be that easy."

"Damn you!" Virgil easily dodged as he laughed and ducked under another swing. He vanished popping up behind the remaining man before kicking him into the wall with a smirk. "You'll pay for that."

"Nah, I don't think I will. You don't even know who I am." The man yelled as he tried to hit Virgil again only for the shifter to easily evade and... shove him over the ledge right along with his friend. Virgil frowned as he looked over to see the two laying there still, part of him hoped he didn't kill them, as he did not want the hero at his throat again for it but at the same time he really didn't care. When you make the choice to be a villain... like honest to god chose it for no 'good' reason, Virgil didn't give two shits about you. You made the choice. "Live with the consequences."

Roman froze as he listened in to the room hearing the footsteps of two other people. One was frantically pacing as another just chuckled. The one pacing was clearly angry.

"SHUT UP!" The sound of a slap rang through Roman's mind as he clenched his fist in anger. Virgil appeared in front of him with a frown as he pressed a finger to his lips. Roman only nodded in understanding. Virgil held up two fingers before quickly forcing them back into a fist. Roman's eyes narrowed as the younger once again showed to fingers before this time pointing at the door, making Roman's eyes widen. Two in the room like he was hearing but there was also two others that Virgil had already taken care of. Roman turned to look over at the door before tapping his chest. He pointed at Virgil before jabbing his thumb towards the wall behind him. Virgil winked with a smirk before giving him a two-finger salute and vanishing once again. Roman couldn't help but feel tense. He knew Virgil could protect himself but that didn't mean he liked the idea of sending him into an obvious fight. "Seriously shut it!" Virgil popped in just as the man, to whom he was now referring to as barney what with all the purple, was about to hit the lady again.

"Uh, b-boss." Virgil smirked over at the goon as he winked.

"Not now!" Barney yelled out as kicked the girl who wasn't listening to him. "This bitch needs to fucking learn her place."

"Don't you know it's not right to hit a girl." Barney spun around pulling his gun out and forcing Virgil to throw his hand out, pushing the gun away so he didn't get shot. Barney's eyes were wide as Virgil allowed himself to shift into Manic. "It's just not proper. I mean... She's literally crying and here you are being a total dick. One might say..." Virgil punched him in the gut making him curl up against him before kicking through a wall. "... you're the one who needs to learn their place. Fucker." Virgil turned to the goon shifting into his Raven form as the man tossed his gun to the floor and threw his arm up.

"Hey man. I'm just trying to get paid. Boss makes the rules. I..." Roman knocked him on his ass frowning slightly as the man just crumbled to the ground.

"Well, then I apologize but you ran with the wrong crowd there kid." Roman glanced up to see Virgil giving him this look and he sighed in relief. The shifter didn't have a mark on him. He was worried when he heard the gunshot. "We make a good team... Then again I didn't really do anything."

"I was about to say..." Virgil laughed as he turned towards the girl and frowned, stepping back to stand near Roman who walked over. She wasn't screaming anymore but she was crying. "Hey, miss?" Virgil frowned as the lady made no reaction. Roman's eyes narrowed as he slowly sat down in front of her catching her attention fast as she jumped. "Rez?"

"I've got this, Raven." Roman smiled as he waved softly. "Are you ok?" The lady's eyes narrowed in confusion as the panic never died down. "Miss?" Roman frowned as he let his hand drop to his lap.

"I... I-I d-do... I don't know what you're..." Roman eyes instantly shot wide as the lady tried to speak. Her voice was strained and sounded far too familiar for Roman to not have realized the second he heard it. Heard it... right. Roman took a deep breath before smiling again and waved drawing her attention to his hands before signing.

'I asked if you were ok. I'm a hero. Resonant... My and my friend here are here to help you.' The lady's eyes widened as she frantically tried to sign back but her hands were so shaky she wasn't really able to do anything. 'It's ok, Miss.' Roman quickly fired back before nodding to reassure her. 'You don't need to respond but if you able... we would like to get you out of here and to a hospital.' She nodded with a desperate laugh all while Virgil just stood there watching with this look in his eyes. 'Can you walk?'  She signed a quick yes and Roman jumped up to help her onto her feet. Virgil's eyes narrowed as he watched the hero carefully lead her away from everything.

"What was that?" Roman hesitated a bit as Virgil followed closely behind. "What you were doing in there..."

"It's sign language. She's Deaf." Virgil's eyes widened as Roman smiled. "It's ok you know. Not many people know sign, as sad as that is. You not knowing doesn't mean anything."

"But you did." Roman did freeze up that time making Virgil and the lady both look at the hero in confusion. "You knew it well enough to communicate with her seamlessly and you knew she was deaf without ever having asked her."

"I just uh..." Roman looked away as he shrugged as turned his attention back to the lady. "A hero should always make it a point to do all he can so that he can help everyone."

"If you say so." Roman sighed softly before glancing around them.

"Hey, do you think you can..."

"Uh uh." Virgil pointed at the girl only making Roman frown in confusion. "I don't think it would be a good idea to shift while she's actually looking at me. She doesn't know I'm a shifter. It's probably best we don't cause her to panic more."

"Shit, your right." Roman laughed as he shook his head in annoyance of himself. "I'm sorry. Ok, then... To the hospital it is."
