Warning~ Trauma-related Panic? And unconsenting medical treatment... (they didn't have a choice though Roman needed it)

"No. No. No. No. No." Roman cried out as he desperately tried to struggle against the arms that held him. "NO! Don't do this."

"I'm sorry, Roman. We don't have a choice." Logan called back as he eyed the medicine bottle in his hand.

"NO!" This blast ripped through things sending Virgil and Patton both flying to the floor as Logan protected the syringe as best he could. Virgil was quick to jump back in to hold his love down. Roman just cried as their eyes met and Virgil's heart broke seeing the panic. "Please don't do this. Please?"

"I'm sorry, Roman." Virgil whispered as put himself up on top of Roman to better hold him down. "Logan knows what he's doing."

"Not this. NOT THIS!" Roman tried again desperately squirming despite the agony he was in. He was losing too much blood at this point. If they didn't do something soon he would only pass out again. "Please! Logan... Lo... Logan you... can't... don't do this." Roman whimpered as his power raged through the room again. Virgil had to hold onto him tightly just to not get thrown off of him. It wasn't Roman's fault. He wasn't in control of his powers right now, but that was the problem. The pain and fear Roman was in was making his powers go out of control and with his injury... If they didn't do something... Roman could end up dying. "You can't do this to me. Logan..."

That's why Logan had decided to suppress Roman's powers.

"This is for your own good, Roman." Patton called out as he joined Virgil by the bed, hoping to help calm his friend down by playing with his hair. It wasn't really helping much at all which was why he moved to hold his shoulders down so Logan could do what he had to.

"No. You can't..." Roman whimpered in terror as he tried to free himself. "I need my powers. Logan, I NEED THEM!"

"It's only temporary, Roman. They will come back."

"I NEED THEM!" He screamed out causing another burst that nearly sent Virgil into a wall. Patton grunted as he desperately tried to keep Roman on the bed just long enough for Virgil to get back to how he was.

"Roman, listen to me." Roman froze like ice at Virgil's tone, tears in the shifter's eyes, as he smiled so heartbrokenly at his love. "You're powers are hurting you. We can't heal your wound and you're losing too much blood."

"I need them." Roman whispered quietly watching as Virgil's tears fell. "You don't understand... I need them. I can't... I can't go back to that. I can't... Please don't do thi-..." Roman's eyes shot wide the second Logan practically stabbed him with the needle. The contents were emptied into his body and almost instantly Roman seemed to break down. His tears feel harder as he just laid their stock still in shock. "L-Lo?" Roman's voice was hoarse at this point as he finally glanced over to see the guilt in his friend's eyes. "Why?"

"Your powers were making it impossible for you to heal. We had no choice."

"But... You... You knew... YOU KNEW I... I..." This clear panic filled the hero's eyes as he broke down even more. "I... I can't... No. No. NO! Not again. Fuck not again!" Roman choked as his hands went to his ears. "I needed them. I needed them."

"I really am sorry, Roman." Logan spoke softly as he let Patton take the empty syringe away. "I can understand if your angry with me but please understand why..." Logan stopped the second Roman sat up, his eyes downcast just staring into his lap. "Roman, please under-..." Roman simply signed with very shaky hands making Logan's eyes go wide. The poor broken hero pointed to himself, before making this flicking sign and pointed over at his friend. Logan didn't bother saying anything after that. There wasn't a point. "Virgil?" The shifter jumped slightly before looking up to see the pain in Logan's eyes as the hero smiled sadly. "Keep watch over him just uh... Be patient with him. It's going to take him a while to adjust."

"I needed my powers." Roman whispered hoarsely, his tone strained and clearly off. "You knew I needed my powers. So why?"

"In regards to hero work, Virgil could take your place so I wasn't worried about that." Logan answered as he signed along to what he said. "If your worried about the civilians and their thoughts on you being absent Virgil can literally become you..."

"Damn it, Logan!" Roman snapped his voice much louder than it needed to be before he just stopped and crashed. "You know why I needed them. I can't take it. I can't..." Logan didn't bother anymore. There wasn't anything more he could do. He knew he made the right choice. He just hated that it hurt his friend so much to do. "V-Vir..." Roman tried to call out to his love, his hand outstretched begging for contact. "V-... il. Please?" Virgil's eyes narrowed as he slowly crawled his way into Roman's arms. "Virg-... on't... lea... me."

"What?" Roman huffed sadly as he buried himself into Virgil's chest. "Hun, I couldn't hear you." Virgil frowned as trailed his fingers through Roman's hair. It was like Roman's voice was cutting out. He was speaking so softly and quietly no one could make out what he said. "Love I... I'm sorry." Roman frowned as he looked up noticing Virgil had to be talking. "I'm sorry. You're probably mad at me too. I mean... I literally held you down. I just... I can't lose you and you couldn't heal. You didn't know what to do. I just..." Virgil hesitated the second he noticed the pure pain in Roman's eyes. "Hun?" Roman's tears only fell harder as Virgil quickly moved to brush them away. "Roman, I'm sorry. I'm sorry ok? Please don't cry. It's not forever. Logan said they'll come back. He said..."

"Please stop talking." Virgil crashed hard as Roman whimpered and buried himself into his love again. "Just stop talking. I can't... I can't stand it. It hurts too much."

"I..." Virgil sighed as he just nodded and laid the two of them down together in bed. Roman curled himself up against him as Virgil pulled the blanket over them. "I'm sorry, Roman. Please forgive me."
